Spectacular! Just wrapping 5 days here and it’s been nothing short of a perfect trip away Hotel 5/5 - the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s simply stunning. The views are incredible, the facilities are spot on and the room is great - cosy, modern, clean and features everything you possibly need. The hotel has space! And this may sound daft but we had a guaranteed spot by the pool, up at the rooftop bar, at breakfast and beyond - no hunting for a lounger by the pool. Granted we went in May, so may be just before the season but I’m sure it’s plenty throughout the year. The mix of activities (Pilates, aqua fit, live music and more) are great too, meaning - if you do want to do something a little different - there’s plenty of options. Location 5/5 - if you’re looking for a relaxed getaway this is ideal. The town - just a lovely little walk away (roughly 15/20 mins) - features a great strip of restaurants, bars and shops which hug the beautiful coastline and features several incredible sandy beaches with some of the clearest water I’ve seen. It’s not too busy and offers a fantastic alternative if you wish to head out of the hotel for a day or two. My partner snorkelled a couple times and we had a fabulous, local lunch by the water. There’s a path which runs parallel to the sea and it offers a wide variety of scenery, making it the perfect way to round off the evening whilst watching the sunset. If you are looking for more activity, I would likely suggest hiring a car as the town is rather remote. Food 4/5 - as buffets go, this is as good as it gets! The variety is huge and options are rotated out, meaning the offering feels fresh throughout the stay. I’ve seen some say that some of the food gets a bit cold under the heat lamps and - to an extent - this can be true. That being said, this didn’t happen too much and if you want to avoid this, you can have a great mix of meat cooked fresh, along with pasta made for you in the evening and omelettes in the morning. The earlier you go to ‘opining time’, the better - as all of it will be hot and good to go. My only flag is that some of the smaller, local options aren’t always signposted meaning it can be pot luck what you get and some of the side dishes could be topped up more frequently, but these are small gripes in the grand scheme of things. Service 5/5 - can’t fault it. Drink on arrival, clear introduction on the facilities and what’s on offer. Luggage taken to your room, regular house keeping and fresh pool towels ready to go. I didn’t have one interaction with the staff which left me wanting more. They’re all amazing!
The hotel is new and the offering is so good, you don't have to leave if you don't want to. All the amenities were great and the food and services great quality. Customer service needs work here and there. Service delivery not quite polished as a true 5 star should be but overall, still a wonderful experience. I wish my stay was longer so I could relax and enjoy more of the comforts of this wonderful establishment with unbeatable views all around which were the top treat! Special mention to Santiago who was always very pleasant from beginning to end and so helpful making us feel very welcome and valued, all restaurant staff who were courteous and kind , the activities instructor who conducted an enjoyable and interactive soap making class, housekeeping who always did a fantastic job and maintained cleanliness of the rooms to a high standard and also Dalia at the spa, for a wonderful and restorative massage experience. Thank you.
