The hotel is amazing. Superfriendly staff and I will start with the thing that is most important to me: They went out of their way and did everything possible to accomodate my daughter‘s nut allergy. Thank you so much to the Chefs, to Victor, Maria and their amazing teams for taking such good care of us. Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are like pictured, sideways sea view was worth it. They are impeccably clean. One thing that I did not like much was that everyone takes their little babies into the adult pool, but we survived that. The sea is just a few steps away. The Location is amazing as pictured. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and prefect location for walks along the beach and being able to dip in and out the pool and sea!

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but feel there is potential for improvement. The room was clean and spacious, the housekeeping staff were always friendly and did a great job. The hotel is beautiful and on the main bus route into Alcudia and Ca’n Picafort- the bus stop is only 5 mins walk from hotel and costs about 3 euros each way. There is a fantastic little supermarket just next to the hotel which sells delicious pastries and pretty much everything you will need. Although the hotel is beautifully designed and situated on a lovely beach, we found that service from the staff in general was a bit hit and miss. One evening, we ordered a glass of cava from the bar and when it came it was in a large glass ( not a flute ) and was probably about the equivalent of half a standard flute in terms of volume. When questioned if that constituted a full glass, staff replied, ‘If you want more you will have to pay.’ Rather rude we thought! The next night we tried to order another glass, there was some heated discussion between the staff but we were eventually told they no longer serve glasses of cava. Perhaps little bottles could be served. Similarly, in the pool bar, we were allowed to order milkshakes for the first few days , then later in the week were told they don’t sell them anymore! We were never charged the same amount for the ones we did have. The sun beds around the pool were comfortable but there were never any available after 10.30am. I appreciate that we visited at the end of July, probably the busiest period, but most were reserved before breakfast and many were reserved but not used all day. I know this is common in most hotels but it is frustrating when you pay the rate charged by this hotel and can’t find a sun bed to sit on for a couple of hours. On one occasion, we asked for extra towels for the beach but were told we could only have one each- really, as a one-off?! Luckily, the beach was lovely- very shallow and sandy and we spent most of our time there, although we did have to pay for sun beds. To sum up, on the whole a good hotel but for a hotel of this calibre, the service fell a little short we felt- not up to the same standard as the Hyatts in Melbourne and Vienna where service was exceptional. The young men at Reception however (the bellboys), were outstanding- always friendly and eager to help. They should be used as an example for all the staff, I feel.

This is our very first day at Sarena de Muro Resort Mallorca, but I already felt I wanted to leave a review because I was genuinely pleasantly surprised. This has been a busy summer for us. Before coming here we spent time in London, stayed at a five-star beachfront hotel in Monaco, visited Milan, and then stayed at the most famous luxury hotel in San Remo. Mallorca is already the fourth destination and the third country on this trip, so we have quite a fresh comparison. The last time I visited Mallorca was almost 20 years ago when I was a child. Since I’m currently learning Spanish, I convinced my family to come back and discover a different part of the island—Playa de Muro—and I’m very happy we did. The hotel’s location is fantastic. It literally takes less than a minute to reach one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. The beach is clean, the sand is beautiful, and the water is crystal clear with an incredible turquoise color. One thing that deserves special praise is the food. Both breakfast and dinner exceeded my expectations. For a European resort, the variety and quality are excellent, and we’ve enjoyed every meal so far. Before arriving, I had read several reviews mentioning poor communication with the staff, but that has been the complete opposite of our experience. Every request we’ve had—whether it was a room-related issue, a dietary request, or simply asking for something extra—was handled quickly, professionally, and always with a smile. Everyone has been genuinely friendly without ever being intrusive, which creates a very relaxed atmosphere. Another pleasant surprise is the value for money. After traveling for almost a month through London, Monaco, Milan, and San Remo, this has honestly been the most affordable stop of our trip. Not only was the hotel itself reasonably priced, but food and drinks inside the hotel are also significantly less expensive than what we’ve experienced elsewhere—while still maintaining excellent quality. We booked two rooms: a standard room for ourselves and a Partial Sea View Suite for my parents. The suite is incredibly spacious. I actually think a family with children could comfortably stay there thanks to the large living area and sofa. Both rooms were spotless. The spa is not huge, but I actually liked that. It’s peaceful, very clean, and never felt crowded. The gym is also surprisingly well equipped, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that I personally would prefer brighter lighting in the rooms during the evening. The atmosphere is intentionally cozy and romantic, but I would appreciate a bit more light. Overall, after just one day, I already have a very positive impression. Everything has been clean, organized, welcoming, and relaxing. If the rest of our stay continues like this, I can absolutely see us returning in the future.

excellent location, even the hotel is big, you don't feel overcrowded or surrounded by throngs of guests - well organized and designed newly refurbished hotel very professional staff, well experienced and helpfull (loyal, majority worked long time at the hotel - we have almost 20 year experience) limited potential to have dinner if you do not prefer the halfboard
