Valentin Playa de Muro Aparthotel

We recently stayed at Valentin Playa de Muro for our very first holiday with our 1-year-old daughter, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Rooms & Grounds: The modern bungalow accommodation was faultless and exceptionally clean. Because the units are detached, you get a wonderful sense of privacy and seclusion, plus a massive terrace to relax on. Pools & Location: The family setup is top-tier, featuring a very shallow pool that’s ideal for little ones alongside a larger pool with plenty of shallow areas for kids to enjoy safely. The location is great, too—just a pleasant 10-minute walk through a beautiful nature reserve brings you straight to a stunning beach. Food & Dining Service: The buffet food was excellent with great variety, but the restaurant team truly made the holiday extra special. The service was easily 5*+! Every single staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome and treated our daughter like royalty. Staff & Entertainment: From the warm and helpful reception team to the brilliant entertainment staff who timed and managed every event perfectly for young children, everyone worked so hard to create a great atmosphere. We can’t speak highly enough of the team here. Thank you for making our first trip as a Family incredible!

I cried when we left, I was that filled with joy, peace and so relaxed. We loved it there. We travel to Mallorca a lot, we know it well. This place is small, the bungalows are lovely, clean, well placed and private. Everything is spotless and you hardly see the process. The hotel is as communal or private as you want it to be. The loudest sound are the cicadas in the surrounding nature reserve. We stayed in 39’ degrees heat dome heatwave temps for the first week and the air con in the bungalows is the best we have experienced. The main reception and dining hall also have air con. The staff are everything here. The cons: It is not beachfront (but it doesn’t Claim to be) , you have to cross a main road to get to the beach but it is just a 10 min walk. The beach is stunning, you can rent the beds there or buy a a parasol It is in the middle of nowhere which just adds to its charm. You can go into Can Picafort for supplies, beach bars etc. or a bus into Alcudia - stop is right outside and great service . We had a great day at the market and bought the requred (by a teen) inflatables, snacks and Fuse Tea. So it is not isolated. The hotel also offer car and bike rental. Now the GOOD bit Gorgeous room, soft tiles, perfect bathroom, great shower, strong air con, large fridge, comfy beds, coffee machine standard nespresso classic style capsules. Well supported by lovely cleaning staff, great maintenance staff who fix issues quickly and quietly. Clean, it’s a nature reserve so expect bugs and ants but it never feels dirty, communal areas are well looked after and toilets clean. Food was good, we did half board and enjoyed everything. My husband is veggie and found a good range every night. Breakfast is everything you would expect, omelettes are delicious, huge range of everything of a very good quality. Dinner tended to be themed, again standard starters, soup option, salads, local meat and cheese, grilled options, then lots of food to choose from within the buffet area. Desserts were better than we have seen before. We have stayed in some five star places and the food matched that quality. Pool bar was fresh, a wide choice, something for everyone and freshly cooked to order. Wide menu. Table service or for takeaway to be consumed in the air con. Cocktails were real, made to order and delicious. I don’t drink so enjoyed the mocktails a lot and can’t comment on the alcohol strength. They do offer All Inclusive but this is not a five restaurants, trough food and pour your own wine kind of place. Swimming pools are clean, beds are plenty, no one is setting up at 6am (no sun bed wars here). Lifeguards are on duty but you can swim until late at night - which was needed during the heatwave conditions. Entertainment was of good quality - lots of singers at night. The daily pool fun was just one of the fitness classes, kids seemed to love the kids club and the gym and tennis courts were well used. The people make this hotel. Constantine, Pablo, Marga, Juan David and Darwin are the stars, warm, inclusive, kind, will be as outgoing or quietly supportive as you want them to be. All the dining staff are so lovely, will do anything to help, remember you and are just so warm. The cooks are also kind, very proud of what they make (as they should be so much of it is made with great care). The pool bar staff are very lovely, working Long days in (when we were there) intense heat. But always smiling, trying to understand any changes to orders and once more they remember you and build a rapport. Marga and Juan David are the heart and soul of lunchtime and evening. Even though I wanted to hate the idea of Bingo Bongo - Constantine and Pablo made it such a huge amount of fun. To the point that half the clientele were jumping into the pool together at the end of it. You will arrive and wonder where you are. The welcome is low key and that is the vibe of the place. The more you interact with staff the more you get back. If you need help they fix things quickly and quietly. It is so relaxed and you feel relaxed whilst connecting with lovely people throughout your stay.

My family and I have just returned from what can only be described as the best holiday we’ve ever had. As a family of four—two adults, one young teen and one pre-teen—we can honestly say this was the perfect holiday for us. We’ve travelled quite a lot and experienced all sorts of countries, hotels and resorts, but Valentin is without a doubt the best we’ve ever experienced. Playa de Muro beach is simply idyllic. The hotel itself is immaculate, beautifully set amongst greenery and olive trees, and the bungalows were absolutely perfect for our family. They were modern, comfortable and compact, with a lovely Scandinavian feel. The large verandas were a real bonus, and having fresh pool towels whenever we wanted was a lovely touch. The crisp white bed linen and towels were refreshed daily, keeping everything feeling fresh and spotless. The pool bar was fantastic, serving delicious cocktails and excellent food with a great choice for lunch. The main restaurant was equally impressive. The food was fresh, varied and offered an incredible amount of choice. We needed some gluten-free options during our stay, and nothing was ever too much trouble. In fact, the gluten-free food was the best we’ve ever experienced at a hotel—a huge thank you to the team for making this so easy and enjoyable. The pools were large, beautifully maintained and never felt crowded. The activities were just the right balance—low-key, relaxed and incredibly fun. From aqua relaxation to swimming races, there was something for everyone. Our son particularly loved the football and basketball sessions in the early evening. But what really made this holiday so special was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were some of the friendliest, most professional and genuinely lovely people we’ve ever met on holiday. The level of service was simply outstanding. A special mention has to go to Claudio, who welcomed us on arrival and quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. He was a brilliant entertainer, and quiz night was a particular favourite—his comic timing was absolutely brilliant! Pablo and Anna from the animation team were simply superb, and a huge thank you to everyone in the bar and restaurant, including Tyrome, Darwin, Margarita, Andres, Lisandra and, of course, Juan. You were all amazing and helped make our holiday what it was. Thank you to everyone at Valentin for making our stay so incredibly special. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We left already talking about coming back, and this is honestly the first holiday where we’ve wanted to book our return straight away. Fabulous 3 night stay, the hotel is immaculate and is surrounded by beautiful trees and mountains. It’s a small hotel with a wonderful set up, the staff are amazing and it has everything you need for a relaxing peaceful break. Plenty of sunbeds, no one is rushing anything and the atmosphere was very calm and peaceful. We did not explore the area as only there for 2 days but there is a beach nearby.

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Valentin in Playa De Muro. The hotels grounds are beautiful, with two of the biggest olive trees I’ve ever seen. Everything is well kept and the pool was always really clean. Sunbeds were never an issue, plenty for everyone to use. Rooms are lovely, a little bit on the smaller side but still wouldn’t put me off staying again. The only thing I think would make the rooms even better is a full length mirror in the bedroom (definitely room for this on the wall!) & then some drawers in the wardrobe and bedside tables. Just for some extra storage to put your stuff! Travel cot for our 1 year old was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. We were all inclusive and wow it was so worth it! Our mini fridge was stocked up and refilled everyday with waters, beers, juices, Fanta, Coca-Cola. We even had a complimentary small bottle of cava with some champagne flutes delivered to the room - such a lovely touch! The food was incredible, so many amazing options at the buffet morning and evening. I have a nut allergy but the chefs were so friendly and helpful (particularly Yolanda!). They talked me through what I could and couldn’t have which I could eat pretty much all of it every night! Then the lunches were amazing, on the terrace by the pool and you could choose whatever you liked from the menu. The burgers were amazing! Our daughter particularly enjoyed a spaghetti bolognaise which they were happy to make a child size portion for her. Lovely cocktails and alcoholic beverages too! Reception were super helpful and there was a doctor which they could call for you who came to your room, this was so reassuring as a parent. A special mention to all the amazing staff in the restaurant, pool terrace, bar and around the hotel. They were all so amazing, so helpful, kind, lovely and were amazing with our daughter. They made our stay feel so homely and brightened our day everyday. We were so sad to say goodbye to them! Overall for our first family holiday, we couldn’t have chosen a better place. If you’re considering staying here then absolutely do it!! You won’t regret it! Just remember to take some mosquito repellent as there are quite a lot around with it being in a nature reserve.
