Dusit Thani Pattaya

Amazon stay as always. K. Wanna Pakgajang, Front Office Manager runs a great team that takes care of every guest. Also, special thanks to K. Fah, Supervisor Dusit Club. Always smiling and caring customers needs. There is not another hotel in Pattaya that can compete with Dusit view of Pattaya bay.

Have visited many times and keep coming back because quite frankly apart from the beautifully positioned resort the service is amazing. I would like to commend the pool staff at The Bay namely Phanuphan Mangnimit, Natachan Jantima, Phitthawat Kradanlat and Wannakorn Pornwijit. The service is the same now as the first time I visited many years ago - impeccable!

I’m writing this review to share our very disappointing experience at the hotel. We intentionally brought my parents and relatives from Chiang Mai to Pattaya for a relaxing holiday and to escape the air pollution. What shocked us even more was the condition of the hotel room. We booked directly through the hotel’s website, expecting the quality to match the hotel’s reputation, but what we found was the complete opposite. - The room was extremely old, and the carpet smelled musty. - Towels were torn and badly worn out. - Dust had built up heavily on the headboard and in many corners, as if the room had not been properly cleaned for a long time. - There were black stains and mold on the ceiling and in several areas of the bathroom. - The door was extremely difficult to open and close — it was so stiff that even the staff seemed confused. I visit Pattaya often because I live in Bangkok, and honestly I never thought of staying here before because I knew the property was quite old. However, this time we chose it because we were traveling with elderly family members during Songkran, so convenience was important — close to markets and restaurants. Also, since it carries the Dusit brand, we believed it would not disappoint. We paid over 12,000 THB for 3 rooms, and we felt extremely disappointed. It was not worth the money at all. I would much rather stay at a clean, comfortable 3–4 star hotel in good condition than this. If anyone is considering staying here, please think very carefully before booking. Even the public restroom near the breakfast area was dirty and poorly maintained. There was absolutely nothing about this experience that felt like a 5-star hotel. In the end, we complained at the reception. The staff could only apologize and admitted that the photos on the website did not match the actual rooms, saying they were probably taken when the hotel was newly renovated around 10 years ago.

Okay, the hotel rooms may not be ultra modern, but they have all you need, aircon, tv, kettle, mini bar etc and are super clean and comfortable...thankyou to Manop especially for making our stay even warmer....The hotel itself is bang in the middle of everywhere on top of the beach with all the entertainment, food and drinks you need...Breakfast is great with so many choices, thai, English breakfast (thai style) Indian, sushi etc etc..Saifon made our morning with her beautiful smile and all the staff were wonderful, professional and friendly...Didn't do that much in the hotel as out exploring, but daily suntanning was great with a choice of 3 pools..Most have shade all day, we opted for the bit with the waterfall which had 11 hours full on sun daily...The pool guys are constantly walking around tidying up etc..Honestly, do not be put off by negative reviews on dirty carpets etc, as we found this hotel to be an amazing experience and will genuinely stay here when next in Pattaya
