Kata Palm Resort Spa

Close to beach, it’s a 5 to 10 min walk as a wall right opposite the hotel blocks it from being direct access Beach is lovely but very busy Restaurants and markets east walking distance too The hotel itself was nice very spa like , great deluxe room with a bath and views to the pool The pool was awesome and we could walk. Out our room in the pool and bar was opposite Staff were friendly and very helpful especially the managers in assisting us in arranging our transfer to airport They also organised a cake in my room fit my bday nice surprise Would def recommend and return if in Phuket

The whole experience was awesome . Location, Location,Location!! 5 minutes walk to Kata Beach, shop's and restaurants all within walking distance. The room was beautiful and spotless, the pools ( there's 3) were kept super clean. The food was delicious! But most importantly was the staff!! I have never seen as many smiles as i did at The Kata Palm Resort and helpful beyond words. 100% recommend staying here.

We stayed for 7 nights and had a great time. The hotel has a more traditional main reception, although the accommodation blocks are more modern. We found the hotel to be clean and the staff polite and helpful. The pool is an oasis of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the main road outside. There are lots of sunbeds, but they are taken quite quickly — if you haven’t got one by 9am you might struggle. There is a policy that if you leave a sunbed unattended for 30 minutes then your belongings may be removed, but I only heard of this happening once in the 7 days. Breakfast was fine and the evening meal is good. However, there are numerous local restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, so there’s loads of choice. The beach is only a short walk away — maybe 15 minutes at a slow amble — where two sunbeds and an umbrella are available for 250 THB for the day. The room (we had a Grand Deluxe) was very spacious and the bed offered a good night’s sleep. The air con worked really well, and there is a fridge and a safe for valuables. The bathroom was fine, although the bath could do with being replaced. I’m not a fan of the huge window between the bathroom and the bedroom — maybe it’s my age! Fortunately, there’s a blind, so it’s not a problem. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

This hotel was fantastic. Very clean, amazing friendly staff, comfortable and great rooms. Close to beach and all markets etc. Roof top pool a real highlight. I would not hesitate to stay here again and had the most amazing and wonderful trip to the land of smiles yet again.

Fantastic resort, great location, great staff who couldn’t do enough for you, breakfast was good, plenty of choice including fresh fruit every day, we took our own tea bags and had to ask for pot of hot water. They brought it within seconds of asking, pools were great including the roof top pool, our only complaint was there are not enough sunbeds and too many people reserving by putting towels on early and disappearing for most of day, ( annoying happens where ever you go) Spoke to Pauline the manager who promised to sort this, and she was quite concerned about the issue. All in all a lovely hotel and if we go back to Phuket we will certainly book this hotel again
