Khaolak Bhandari Resort & Spa

Location about 10 minutes from main strip Bhandari resort and spa is traditional Thailand resort very friendly staff It is make mostly from wood and a lot of plants and trees so did get bit by mosquitoes a lot I would say the hotels needs quite a bit of work done to it in the swimming pool there are tiles coming of the bottom and the tiles around the edge are sharp , the rooms are spacious but the cleaning needs to improve I reported dead insects by the toilet I think they were cockroaches it took them 3 days to remove them but all they did was mop the floor and I found them in all different parts of the bathroom so in the end I picked them up and deposed of them myself Breakfast wasn’t that good apart from the main chief he was lovely and got my eggs stop on and he greeted everyone Two coffee machines one u could only get black coffee from and the other one broke on our second day and still wasn’t fixed 5 days later when we left The area khoa lak was lovely and peaceful night market was great but as I said mosquitoes would put me of going to that area of Thailand again

this was the 2nd time i stayed at Bhandari . Love the area it is . just over the quiet road is the unspoilt beach . The Hotel consists of Thai style Bungalows and a few blocks of rooms . Every room has beautiful teak furniture . a balcony and a bathroom with not only shower but also a bath . Every morning your woken with bird song , No traffic sounds . You can walk easily to the main street of Khaolak where there is lots of good eateries and shops . also a short taxi ride [costing 200 bht ]away is the massive Night market where you can buy all your gifts for home . Only thing i would say is if your not good on your feet the hotel has lots of steps. The Staff are so good ! so polite . always stop and say a greeting . There are 2 pools one where families can have fun & also a quiet adult only pool where you can chill .

I went here with my sisters and dad, the location itself is wonderful, a quick 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk up to the highstreet to go exploring! The resort itself is honestly beautiful full of greenery, a lush pool for both adults and children. A delicious selection of food from the restaurant they house and breakfast options from their morning buffet!! I personally really loved their spring rolls. The staff here were extraordinary, from first arriving and being welcomed with big smiles from Kiwan and Siddy from the lobby where they treated us and our luggage with great care, always lending us a helping hand. The staff were efficient and hard working, constantly on the mark to keep us happy and refreshed. Overall it was a lovely quiet and relaxing place to spend with my family soaking up the sun after a day of exploring Thailand!

We stayed for 3 weeks at the Bhandari in one of the bungalows and we had a wonderful holiday. The bungalow was spacious and very comfortable with everything you could need. Our room was cleaned regularly and felt very homely whilst being, to us authentic Thai in style. We loved our room with only one small issue, we found the positioning of the safe made it difficult to use. We had breakfast in the hotel and in the 3 weeks we stayed we didn’t get bored with the selection of food. Our daily omelette cooked to order was lovely, the breads fresh and little cakes excellent. All of the restaurant staff are wonderful and work very hard. All the staff worked hard and were friendly and cheerful whenever you met them. Reception were very helpful, the bar staff very friendly (although the pool bar wasn’t open as late as advertised) in fact every member of staff we met helped us when we needed it. A special shout out to the security team at the entrance to the hotel. The location of the hotel was excellent, a short walk to an amazing beach in one direction and in the other a short walk up to the main road and an excellent choice of restaurants, shops and bars. It was also a great location to book trips and visit other parts of Khao Lak.

Well appointed spa in resort complex. We booked 3 treatments, mine was a 60 min back/neck/shoulder and ended up being given a full body. Treatments overall were good, but we (3 customers) would say they weren't the best treatments we'd had while in Thailand.
