Very good and relaxing would defiantly recommend

We stayed at the spa for three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We sort a peaceful base and the Mandvara delivered. Immaculately clean throughout the complex. Staff attentive with care and consideration to all your needs. Help and guidance on hand. For those requiring aid in moving around the complex cart transport is provided. We did not use this service as we could cope with status and slopes. The spa is constructed in the side of the landscape and therefore is naturally on an incline however how spa is oriented beautiful in the landscape to provide privacy and seclusion for guests. Good choice was excellent and several pools to choose from to base yourself. The onsite Spa for treatment offered great choice and high quality massage.

Lovely Resort with so many pool options. The room was was large with a wraparound balcony looking out the sea. It is on a hill so be prepared for that the boys running the shuttle buses are brilliant. We went B&B as we wanted to experience a lot of the local restaurants (some great ones a few mins down the hill) The included breakfast was excellent loads of choice and great service and really sets you up for the day. Loads of pool choices with swim up bars and happy hours 4-6 a Chang is 80tb during that time for reference. Bolts are cheap if you want to explore further patong bay was about £6 one way. After venturing out for the evenings we chilled on the balcony with a few drinks. Massages were expensive compared to a few mins down the hill which started at 300/400tb for hour Thai massage. Would stay again as a base in Karon beach. The shuttle drops you at the beach and sunbeds/umbrellas were 100tb per person.

We spent a week here on our second week of our two week Thailand holiday, i was gutted we didn’t have two weeks in just this hotel! Il start with what i loved, the initial welcome was great with some nice cold face towels and drinks and the check in experience was easy. We were shuttled up to our room with our luggage. The initial surprise of seeing our room was amazing, if you love plants/gardens you will love this hotel/rooms. The room was massive with a big wrap around balcony, and was very clean and modern. Once we were sorted we went for a look around the hotel, the grounds are so well kept the plants and gardens are fantastic, and then to top it off one of the amazing pools appears out of no where like an oasis. Each of the five pools has its own bar when you can order drinks and food which all were very nice. All of the pools are stunning and different in their own way. The breakfast/restaurant was very spacious and clean and lots of choice. You can really relax at this hotel for two weeks. I only have a couple of personal negatives but are not so much the hotels fault. One being the area itself, i personally didn’t like Karon area as much as other areas i have been in thailand, the walk from the hotel to the town is around ten minutes up/down hill. You can get a free shuttle from hotel at certain times. The hotel is very hilly so if you find it hard for mobility it probably isnt the hotels fault for you, again, they do a shuttle service around the hotel.

We prefer hotels on the beach, but we were willing to make an exception for this hotel because it is a very special hotel. This was our second time staying here and we are probably willing to give up the beach to stay here for a few days on our next trip. There is a tropical garden with a variety of species, which is very well maintained. An entire "army" of gardeners is constantly taking care of the territory. The hotel is located on a rather steep hillside and because of this there are also countless stairs and I do not recommend it if constant movement up and down stairs is a problem. They also offer a golf cart ride, but it is quite annoying to order a car for every movement within the hotel and wait for it to arrive. There were probably five pools and they are all located in different parts of the territory. The room (Panoramic Deluxe Room) is nice with modern furnishings with Asian influences. The room size is good. There could also be an armchair in the room. You can only comfortably sit on the balcony, but it is hot there. There is no air conditioning in the bathroom and it is very hot there thanks to the skylight. There were no slippers in the room, only beach flip-flops, as I recall, there were also slippers on the previous visit. A large fridge with enough space to store your belongings. The safe ran out of battery and wouldn't open anymore. Opening the safe took a relatively long time, but seeing how difficult it was to open the safe, I felt confident that my things were safe. The breakfast has a good selection. The wide selection of freshly made juices and banana pancakes baked on site add to the exclusivity. The pools are officially opened only at 10:00 and towels are only brought out shortly before that, so if you need towels earlier, you should take them out the night before. It is not allowed to reserve a sun lounger in advance and it is not necessary, because there were always free sun loungers. There is also a beach bag in the room and you can rent beach towels at the front door for going to the beach. A few times a day, the hotel shuttle takes guests to the beach and back. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the beach, but since the hotel is on a hillside, the way back is partly uphill. The group of guests is very international, no one nationality dominated. Guests were also not allowed to be brought in during the day. Our friend, who was staying at another hotel, was not allowed to go beyond the lobby. On the one hand, it’s safe, of course, but on the other hand, it’s a bit excessive if no one is allowed to visit me during the day, after all, this is not an all-inclusive hotel where strangers can enjoy benefits they didn’t pay for.
