Sunwing Resort Kamala Beach

I love sun ving hotell on kamala beach. And the people who work there was wonderful. IT was Amazing. We will mention Revelyn who work at the hotell. She help us a lot and she did a very Great Job. She smile all the time and didnt know the best she could do. I hope she get what she deserved for the good job she do there at the hotell. Hope the boss - /owner of the hotell gives her what she deserved beacause she was spesial in the way she work. Me and my husband owns to companies and we now its hard to get good people. So take good care of Revelyn, she was one of a kind. 🫶

This is a perfect resort for a family. Rooms- we booked a 2 bedroom apartment for our family of 5 and it was big and very comfortable. We asked to change for a room with a better view, and after 1 night the hotel moved us to same type of room but with a pool view, which was great. Breakfast- we loved the variety of food that was very much to our taste Restaurants - there a 2 restaurants and they serve both thai and western cusine for fair prices. Kids under 12 eat for free from a special kids menu (small portion) and at dinner there is entertainment from a nice musical group. Activities- plenty, for all ages. Our teens enjoyed the PlayStation, ping pong and snooker. Pools- the pools are really amazing. They also have slides for little ones. Beach- the resort is right on kamala beach and we really enjoyed the beautiful relaxed beach. Prime location. Atmosphere- this is a place for families. A lot of kids running around, which is great. Loved the place and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and it was absolutely perfect for families with children. We travelled with our three children aged 10, 7, and 4, and there was so much for them to enjoy. We visited during Christmas and the hotel was beautifully decorated, which made the experience feel extra special. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable for a family. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious, with something for everyone each morning. The hotel facilities were excellent, with plenty of swimming pools and fun slides, as well as a great swim-up pool bar for the adults. The beach was just a short walk away, which was very convenient. There was also a football court and organised activities every day to keep the children entertained. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other families and hope to return again in the future.

Our first stop in Thailand and delighted we close this hotel for 3 nights. Swim up pool room so relaxing and peaceful. Family room more spacious than we expected. Location amazing on the beach . Staff great esp housekeeping. Near lots of nice restaurants.

Overall, the hotel is good. Breakfasts are good. But there is one thing that sometimes spoils a vacation. Dinner at this hotel was very bad. 1) Prices are overpriced, but that's not the main thing. 2) Small portions. 3) They don't understand what the guest needs. 4) They brought plastic cups. 5) The grilled chicken was terrible, without marinade. I crossed it off the bill, but they still asked me to pay. 6) The carbonara was incomprehensible. I don't know whether there was bacon in it or not. Terrible dinners. Dine at a cafe on the street, it's better. I'll also note that the deposit at the hotel upon check-in is 200 USD. Why not 1,000? Losing a towel card costs 800 baht... why not 10,000? )))
