Sunwing Resort Kamala Beach

Our stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach was truly exceptional—a wonderful experience that felt comfortable, thoughtful, and genuinely family-friendly from the very beginning. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with clean and well-kept bathrooms. What we particularly loved were the lovely views from our balcony—simply sitting there and watching the ever-changing clouds and open skies was a pleasure in itself. As a kid-friendly resort, Sunwing has clearly thought of everything. From dedicated kids’ meals and a fantastic children’s pool with slides to the overall family-oriented atmosphere, every little detail seemed designed to make travelling with children easier and more enjoyable. The location is another major highlight. The resort sits right on the edge of beautiful Kamala Beach, while just outside you have virtually everything you might need—7-Eleven stores, massage centres, restaurants, cafés, and local conveniences, all within easy walking distance. For families, especially those travelling with young children, we would highly recommend Kamala over the much more crowded Patong area. And if you do want to enjoy Patong’s nightlife, it is still very accessible by Grab, or by walking to the main road and taking a shuttle. Overall, Sunwing Kamala Beach gave us exactly what we wanted from a family holiday—space, cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, convenience, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. A heartfelt recommendation for families looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Phuket. We would happily return! ❤️

We had a fantastic 10-night stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach and would definitely recommend it for families. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help, creating a really welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort is very family-focused, with plenty of pools, water slides, and activities to keep the kids entertained all day. It is just a short walk to the beach with lots of restaurants, cafés, shops, and a 7-Eleven all within walking distance, so there was no shortage of places to eat or explore. The only thing to be aware of is that many of Phuket's main attractions are on the other side of the island, so day trips and excursions can involve a bit of travelling but we used Bolt taxi app in Phuke to easy book and pay for large Van taxis for our big group. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The resort is around 40 minutes from the airport, which made transfers easy. Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday, and Sunwing Kamala Beach offered a great combination of comfort, convenience, and entertainment. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Fabulous Resort ! Spacious , clean,, comfortable, rooms . Choice of 8 pools, fantastic friendly helpful staff , breakfast buffet has everything you want. Restaurant has lots of choices for all tastes .

Amazing holiday, beautiful resort. Staff are exceptional too many to name them all but Alyssa and Tan at Soh restaurant, and bar manager ( sorry can’t remember hi name) and his staff for the cocktail making lesson that was such fun. Sunwing Resort is truly family-oriented, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome from the start. We stayed for 8 days, and it was absolutely worth it! The countless pools and activities kept the kids entertained, along with the resort's proximity to the beach. Having a mini-mart on site is a great addition, open daily until 11 pm. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after busy days. Located about 40 minutes from the airport, Sunwing is the perfect choice for families looking to balance fun, convenience, and comfort.
