Breakfast experience was disappointing. There seemed to be a staff member inspecting/tasting food during breakfast, but they were extremely loud and behaved like a VIP, giving orders to staff in front of guests, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Beautiful location, but service and cleanliness left a lot to be desired Amari Vogue Krabi sits on a genuinely stunning stretch of Tubkaek Beach, and the property itself is lovely. However, the service experience and upkeep were disappointing for a resort of this calibre. On arrival, my family repeatedly asked over the course of several hours - whether a pool villa upgrade was available. Each time, we were told the resort was fully booked. About 30 minutes after our final enquiry, we received a call saying one had become available at SGD 400. The lack of transparency throughout this process was frustrating and made it difficult to trust the front desk. The beach itself was a letdown - we found food waste and litter along the shoreline, which is simply not acceptable for a 5-star beachfront property. Keeping the beach clean should be a basic priority. We also found some of the resort’s policies enforced in a way that felt unwelcoming rather than guest-friendly. Small things, but they added up. The setting has real potential, but the service consistency and upkeep need serious attention. Guests shouldn’t have to fight for straightforward answers or step over rubbish on the beach.
