Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Yasmine Hammamet

Big clean suite with an extra bed, in addition to the super king bed, with a small dining area, a living area and a spacious balcony facing the ocean, with a big clothes rack. The only thing about the suite was that the bed was on a raised marble platform. Although we already put two chairs near the step in case we woke up in the dark and didn’t remember, I still fell when we woke up in the dark morning even seeing the chair, thinking it was on ground level. Dining experiences that need improvements: Restaurant on the beach: food was nice, service was good, until 4pm when they started to get ready to close at 5pm (an hour in advance)….! Breakfast buffet was standard, with an egg station outdoors…the smart birds learned to fly inside to share the bakery on the buffet tray and waiters seemed to ignore them (must be frequent visitors) A bit unhygienic for some who don’t want to share food with birds. Dinner in one of the dining rooms, with an extra long but wide table (difficult to chat with guests on opposite side….although we didn’t need that strange extra long & wide set up). Worst of all, we ordered white wine but after pouring it for a few other guests in our group and the first bottle was finished, the stubborn waiter refused to open a second bottle and just said bluntly….no more in a rude way….even after our organiser asked him to open a new one, and we asked three times and after our appetisers (prawns over cooked) were finished, the request was not met yet…our white wine still didn’t come ….until we talked to the manager! That was a very blunt and impolite service in addition to the overcooked food (prawns and sea-beam were also over cooked and tasteless). This bad dining experience almost ruined our sweet memories of the trip.. luckily the Fruit plate as dessert was bravo!! The beach was very impressive…. swimming with lots of fishes, with responsible life guard always watching. He also rushed to give us towels coming back from the ocean! Lots of lounge chairs and booths too. Swimming pool with various jacuzzis were also refreshing. So overall this hotel was me of the ones we liked (setting) during our Tunisia trip

The moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt its CHARM. It wasn’t artificial at all — it had a soul, filled with LOVE, WARMTH, and genuine HOSPITALITY. The welcome was absolutely MAGNIFICENT. Everyone was so understanding, attentive, and provided an EXCELLENT level of customer service that truly goes ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations. I could feel this from the very beginning, even during the booking process. MAHE handled everything, and she is simply TOP! ADORABLE, PROFESSIONAL, and AMAZING. And honestly, the entire staff deserves recognition. They greet you with a smile and warm greetings every time they see you. This is, quite simply, a GENEROUS hotel. We only came for a One-Day Thalasso experience, yet it felt as if we had spent several unforgettable days there. MAGNIFICENT. MAGNIFICENT. MAGNIFICENT. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Thank you for everything! Don’t think twice — GO BLINDLY. They will guide you straight to their UTOPIA!

The tour company chose this “palace” for our two night stay in Hammamet. A truly beautiful and remarkable property that indeed looks and feels like a palace. Many in our group got rooms on the fourth floor quite a long way from the elevator but we did not get a hotel room, we got suites with a small dining area as well as a small living room sitting area with a fruit tray and fresh roses. The expansive balcony opened up to the sound of the waves of the sea. The breakfast restaurant, La Topaze, offered a lovely array of breakfast items. There were multiple restaurants on this property as well for dining later in the day. The bed was comfortable and the shower offered lots of hot water. The sound of birds is evident in the large, ornate lobby from which one can view the pool. The hotel offers spa services as well. A two night stay would not be long enough to discover and enjoy all the wonderful offerings of the Hasdrubal Thalassa in Hammamet.

We arrived for one night and stayed for four. This hotel is a gem. Its public spaces are beautiful. The rooms are large, comfortable, and very clean. All rooms have a generous terrace. The grounds and beach are gorgeous. Breakfast is great. Best of all, the staff are uniformly kind and helpful. I hope to return.

This resort is the most gorgeous ever. It’s more like a hotel museum with tons of art decoration, paintings, and amazing furniture. The room was fabulous. The dinner buffet was just perfect. The general manager was an excellent friendly gentleman who celebrated my daughter’s birthday by sending a cake to our dining table as soon as he realized her birthday was the day before. The DJ was a very cool and nice gentleman who played Persian music as soon as I asked for it. The only negative point was that the desserts weren’t refilled after being finished. All in all, it’s a fabulous resort.
