The hotel was average at best But the animation was good

I would like to express my gratitude to Ben Zid and Mouhaned Hammami - barmens of this lobby bar. Im so thankfull for their attention to guests, positive mood and kind smile. During my vacation they surrond my company with kindness and care. They were so polite and friendly. The most valuable thing is their knowledge of English. It was very comfortable to communicate with them because we could understand each other. I think they should be encouraged by administration as best workers of this bar.

Firstly, the positives about our 10 day holiday at the 4* Nahrawess Resort and Thalasso hotel. I would like to give a very big thank you to all the Animation Team who were excellent and never stopped working all day and night. Their energy and passion encouraged everyone to get involved and enjoy their holiday. I especially would like to thank Sousou, Hannibal, Kenza and Feirce who were outstanding, better than 5* hotels we’ve stayed at. Thank You for making our holiday fun and memorable. The hotel is generally clean and our room for 3 was spacious, quiet and cleaned every day and the reception staff were always helpful and friendly. The main bar where you can watch sports is a good size, clean and comfortable. The outside area was lovely, and the swimming pools were always clean. The outside caffe bar staff were friendly, especially Naim, who was always happy, helpful and worked the hardest serving you drinks outside and also cleaning the tables. You can walk out of the hotel and grab a yellow taxi to take you to the Hammamet market for 10 TD and 15TD to Nabeul market. Both areas have plenty of restaurants. Now the negatives, the hotel is old and badly needs updating, the lifts constantly break down, which was no fun when you’re on the third floor. The bathrooms need updating but are acceptable. Only 1/3rd of the hotel was open the rest was closed with some of it being worked on. The main buffet restaurant really needs looking at from the management downwards with a complete change of menu. The food was the same every day, from breakfast, lunch to dinner which was not the best. It was mostly Tunisian food, some good some bad, chicken nuggets and chips for Europeans so you won’t starve. The waiters are very unhelpful, unfriendly and don’t want to work. The exception was the only waitress Marwa who was always friendly, smiled, worked hard serving drinks and cleaning tables. Restaurant Manager take note before you lose her, she is a great example for the rest of your staff to follow. The Italian A la Carte restaurant is a joke; there is no Italian food and no menu, the waiter just goes out to the main buffet restaurant and brings back one main dish from there. So, you’re worse off than going to the buffet restaurant where at least you get a choice. The management of this hotel need to realize that the Animation Team is the best thing they have and should really show their appreciation to them. As for the Hotel in general I would give it 3* at best. It’s a shame because it could be a lot better and probably was when it was built. Location ist nice with a Pool and near to the Beach, the Atmosphere ist Brillant! - All of the Crew are very positiv and very friendly! The Restaurant & Bar Crew with Naim are Professional! The Animators Team ist unbeliveable ! We spend hier very good Time ! The Food in Restaurant ist First Class ! The Rooms Are every day cleaned, and every Room has a Air Condition ! The Hotel offers excellent value for money ! The Noise Level was very low, witch made the stay very relaxing and comfortable ! Thank you Nahrawess for this Time !
