Nozha Beach

18/07/2026 - 01/08/2026 An amazing hotel and the staff could not do enough. Attentive, polite, and always eager to speak with us/everyone. Overall a fabulous stay, would thoroughly recommend. Reception staff, amazing and always helpful. You can exchange money here for TND, or the ATM is just to to left hand side. If you use this there is an additional charge of TND15 added to the transaction. Animation team...well what can we say, Toto, DJ Marco, Ryma, Djebril, Lorenzo, Moujcha...(think I have everyone), all absolute superstars! ❤️ Cleaners, again so polite and helpful. Rooms always spotless, and just ask either them or reception if you need anything else. Bar staff, all great, but Zahran, you were amazing each day, and now a 'bestie' with Matthew! Pool, is large and always clean. Temperature was high when we stayed so both the pool and the sea were also warm. No trouble getting in. There was quite a breeze on a couple of days, and therefore the lifeguards on the beach ensured you could only go up to your knees, no swimming was allowed. The beach goes from shallow to deep, to shallow and deep again, so there is quite a 'drag' when it is windy. It may seem a little annoying if this happens, but please listen to them, safety first. You can also get camel, and horse riding on the beach later in the day. Payable separately. Watersports available too, jet skiing, parasailing, water skiing, banana boats and other inflatables. Two bars close at 11pm which is not a problem, but we found out that there is another bar which is rarely mentioned and is not on the list given (Coco Beach Bar - just passed the gym, before the beach, on the right hand side) which has a loud vibe, but should you want something a bit livelier it stays open between 11pm and midnight....and is still part of your AI. Food - lots of choice in the main restaurant, and enjoy both the Mediterranean, and Tunisian restaurants too. However, if you want lots of 'british' cuisine you won't get it. There is some of course, but the hotel has to cater for numerous nationalities so it is very varied. If you fancy also venturing out for food, there are the L'Arogosta and Panoroma right across the road. If you fancy a stroll further, then turn right out the gates and there are numerous along the road within walking distance. Bowling, and pool tables - are available but are located in Royal Nozha, go to top of road, turn left and you will see sign for The Strike, enter through here. No AI, all available at cost. Bowling TND20 per person per game, pool tables TND4 per game (TND1 coins needed). Only one downside....sunbeds!! Although there are signs saying no sunbeds are to be reversed....guess what?? First day we saw people putting towels out at 5am! Thought that was bad. It has got progressively worse during the week, and people are putting towels out by midnight, or some were now leaving them on the sunbeds where they had been that day, for the next day!

We had 10 days at Nozha beach in July, my husband and I and our 14 year-old daughter. Cleanliness - The hotel is super clean with the cleaning team always around working hard. The chambermaid fanned our pjs and put petals on the bed which was a nice touch. Buffet - a little repetitive, positives were fresh fish and prawns. There is something for everyone but very similar each night. The cheese at breakfast is very plastic. We had 2 great waiters, Malik and Bartez (not sure of spelling) who looked after us (for a small tip) having the same table ready for us at lunch and dinner with water and a bottle of rose. Pool - lovely temperature and great having the slides. At first we thought we had to get down early as people do save loungers but we soon realised that although this happens, there were still plenty available late morning so actually there is no need. Entertainment - daytime is better than the evening, music playing but not too loudly with games, quizzes and aqua gym going on. However, although there are shows in the evening they aren't always the best. The beach party and white night were however good with fire eaters, fire works and DJ. If you're with Tui, it's worth going to the Tui night at the beach restaurant too. They sometimes have a singer/musician at the outside bar area before the show which makes for a nice ambience but it seems not very often. There is a 10 pin bowling alley outside the hotel which we went to one night for a change and that was fun. Bar - the bar staff are very friendly and if you tip, they will bring drinks to your lounger by the pool. They do serve real Coke and Fanta but the cocktails and juices are so sweet. The Tunisian Rose wine is actually quite nice though, you do need to ask for ice though as the drinks aren't served very cold. Right on the beach with lots of loungers available. Not much outside of the hotel but only 20 dinars into Nabeul and 40 to Yasmine Hammamet. Tip - you can't take Dinar into our out of the country so make sure not to have any left before you get to the airport. We had the equivalent of £10 which we thought we'd be able to spend at the airport but they actually won't let you through security so you have to hand it over. You can give your personal info and get it back if you come back to Tunisia but we couldn't be bothered.

We travelled as a family of 4 with a 13 year old and 8 year old. The hotel was fantastic, the gentleman on reception was lovely when we first arrived and upgraded our room so we had 2 connecting rooms which was much better for us as a family and we had a pool/sea view. The hotel is spotless and well maintained. The rooms are lovely, and kept clean everyday. The rooms are nice and modern, but the bathroom could maybe do with a little updating. The pools are very good, we spent a lot of time in the main pool , and the children loved the water slides . It was ideal to have the indoor pool as well, which was a welcome escape from the heatwave outside. The beach was beautiful, and always had sun loungers available. We liked the decking area by the grass area where there were comfortable cabana beds. This area is lovely and peaceful if you want a little bit of quiet from the main pool area. The food was very good, especially for lunch and dinner . We ate at both the main restaurant and the beach bar and there was always a wide choice and we always found something we all liked . We also went to the Mediterranean restaurant which was very nice. The only down side we had was there wasn’t a lot of choice when it came to the drinks, it was basic wine, beer or a couple of spirits on offer. You could pay extra if you wanted something different. We were a little disappointed to not have a non alcoholic beer option. The animation team are amazing, they work very long hours and always look like they are having the best time . The entertainment at this hotel was very good, we enjoyed a show each night. The TUI night at the beach restaurant was very good and we were lucky to be there for Tunisian Republic Day and the hotel put on an amazing night for this. We did have one major negative regarding a member of staff in the shop on site , after spending over £50 ! on a big inflatable we were chased down to the beach by security the next day thinking we had stolen it. This was very embarrassing and upsetting and could have been avoided if the two members of staff in the shop had communicated on what they had sold. Everyone works so hard at this hotel and they make your stay unforgettable and it is very much appreciated. Thank you A little tip for at the airport, if you still have money to spend make sure you do this in the shops as you come into the airport as once you go through passport control, they will take it off you. You cannot speed it in the duty free.

So. I find it helpful to have a review of the place before we book so thought it would be helpful to someone else if I did the same here... Firstly - using TUI was a big waste of money. Easier to book flight, transfer and hotel direct... the 10% extra that TUI charged for the package was a massive waste of money. Online checkin did not work, transfers were pretty poor and did not really see reps much. The hotel was a lovely, but some issues. If these issues bother you then be warned.. Staff are amazing. Apart from 2. Everyone else.was truly.kind, could not do enough, worked super hard, was super attentive... the two exceptions were the reception at check in(one guy, very rude, overwhelmed by 5 families arriving on the same coach although tbf it was midnight... and the 2nd was the shop that also doubled as the towel issue. They were always on their phones and frankly rude)... The rest of the staff, other reception, waiters (especially the guy serving mohitos) the cleaning crew (especially the lady by the pool bar) were truly lovely. Really made it a lovely place to stay and relax. Onto the food. Impressive selection. Lots of options and of course you will never go hungry. The old guy doing fried doughnuts all day deserves a medal and the pancake lady was just great and so kind. However! If you are a strict vegetarian, then please avoid. Vegetarian dishes had ham and chicken in them... more than once. And there was not a lot of choice for vegetarians anyway... Even worse is the food prep/Cross contamination issues. My son has nut allergy and sadly had two allergy attacks thanks to just carelessness on the cooking staff. So if you have allergies then be warned.. However it should be said that whenever I (thanks to google translate) asked the staff to help, they were super kind and went out of their way to help... just bad kitchen management IMO. The restaurant was very busy... very long queues for anything and tables were hard to find. The pool was fine. A bit busy but we had loads of very kind people and even when the odd ball bounced unexpectedly, people were good about it. Our ball was stolen by a small kid at one point but we soon found it and suspect it was just a wild child.. Sun loungers are the usual sadly as in most resorts. The ones by the pool are usually "booked" with towels very early.. not heard of a solution to this in resorts yet and I guess suggesting more sun loungers is not favoured. The slide pool was lovely. Safe, lifeguards were vigilant and kind. Activities at the pool were great usual ones. We loved the waterpolo, aqua aerobics and especially the volleyball. Beach was lovely. Fine clean sand, clean sea (even a few fish) and it was very relaxed. A few traders and camel wonder up and down, but are respectful. The rooms were fine. A little tired, but ok. Very clean and comfortable. Good wifi in rooms and good aircon. The hotel is loud .. music on all day and till 11ish in the evening. All the entertainment is in the middle. This was annoying when we needed an early night for an early pick up... but the entertainment was good. Varied and funny. Obviously it is just a hotel, but they had some good shows on. So overall it was a good experience, mostly thanks to some wonderful members of staff. The food/restaurant needs some serious work (or just avoid if you have allergies or are a vegetarian). Not a quiet resort, and full of kids/families, but people are very kind.. from lots of nationalities and there was no real stress. We actually had a lovely time... if the food was better/safer we would have had an amazing time. Ps. If people want me to, I can do reviews of two trips we did.. in short star wars (not impressive... even though I am a massive fan!) Sahara (Amazing! Especially the troglodytes and jeep tour and quad biking! Hotel was awful!) Day trip to Tuniz (Amazing, hire a driver! They are super helpful, actually know enough to guide and go wherever you want to go and stick to your schedule).
