After a week at Nozha beach and I would say it’s a review of highs but also sadly a few lows. Transfers Firstly Nozha beach is quite a way away from Enfida airport, therefore if you have a group transfer be prepared for a minimum 2 hour trip. Ours was 2.5 hours in total! Which meant also the transfer home was booked in for 5 hours before our flight. Check in/Room We arrived at around 1pm and were told we can obtain our all inclusive band and have lunch as our room wouldn’t be ready yet, but after lunch it would be. We filled in some forms and proceeded to lunch. We returned to the check in desk around 1:30 where there were probably around 50 other people waiting to check in. The staff could not find our forms for a good five minutes only to then tell us the room still wasn’t ready, and to go and have a drink and come back in 15 minutes. We gave it 30 minutes until the check in time of 2pm. By this point, the check in desk was pandemonium. Lo and behold, our room still wasn’t ready and we were told to go and ‘have a drink and something to eat’ which I advised we already had. Apparently the previous guests checked out too late which caused the delay.. Come 3pm we could finally check in. However at this point we then had to join another queue to pay the tourist tax. Sadly this queue was also used to exchange money, with one person on the desk. Therefore we had a further 15 minute wait here to do so. We were given a sea view room which had literally just finished being cleaned, so much so the floor was still wet (and very slippery!). We had booked a garden view room but were told we were given this one due to the check in delay. The room was nice however we were over looking the children’s play area which meant the noise level was exceedingly loud. Our room also had several issues - the air con only worked on the lowest level, the fridge did not work, the phone did not work, we had two bulbs out, and by the second day our shower drained so slowly that the bath filled very high with water when showering. We would have complained to the reception but as it took us so long to check in and we were exhausted from travel, we couldn’t be bothered to wait any longer for a different room (plus we couldn’t call reception to complain anyway!). However the staff do clean the room daily and always do an amazing job of this. There is a safe in the room, which only had instructions in French. However after using google translate, it was pretty easy to decipher how to use! Hotel/Pool/Beach The room aside, the hotel itself is beautiful. The pool area is amazing, and the staff are constantly working hard to ensure the pool area is clean and well maintained. There are so many sun beds by the pool and on the beach, which meant we didn’t need to be up crazy early to reserve a bed. The main pool is beautiful with a slope one end for easy access. There is a baby pool, and also a pool for the slides. For the slides, the steps up are very dirty, and get quite muddy (which is not ideal when walking barefoot!). Three of the slides are fantastic fun, however the blue one is very slow! With the staff even confirming some people do get stuck half way due to low water pressure! The beach is beautiful, and has lots of sun beds available. However note the sand is very soft, making it quite hard to walk on. Animation team/Entertainment The animation team work incredibly hard to make sure everyone is upbeat. They offer lots of activities such as aqua aerobics classes, waterpolo, darts, and volleyball. Whilst all of these are great, it can mean the pool area is very loud during these times. They also run the evening entertainment shows. The first show we watched was the magic show. It was certainly an experience and provided us with a few laughs. Let just say a lot of people did leave throughout. The Michael Jackson tribute by Zisou however was much better. There is a mini disco on every evening which runs from 8:30-9:30pm, which sounded enjoyable for the kids; but the same songs do play every day (music man, baby shark etc). The hotel offer an open air movie night every evening, and the schedule appeared in the foyer for the films showing for the week. We tried to attend movie night three times and not once did the right film play. Also - this takes place next to the auditorium so it’s extremely hard to hear the film when a show is on. Drinks We were all inclusive for Nozha beach which meant all soft drinks, water, wine, beer, spirits and cocktails were included. The water came in small and large bottles and also sparkling, which was a nice touch. The red wine and beer were lovely, however the cocktails were a let down. The spirits seem to be more schnapps based than hard spirits, meaning most cocktails were overly sweet. Each cocktail also contained a pre mixed element from the ‘slush’ machines, again making them overly sweet so we weren’t really a fan of those. However as I say the beer and red wine were lovely and the staff work very hard to keep the lines moving quickly. There are a number of bars available; a beach bar, lobby bar, pool bar and a bar outside on the terrace. Each seemed to serve something different. When we first came to Nozha, we were tipping the bar staff for each drink, however we very quickly saw no one else did this. We also noticed that some people who were not tipping were actually getting better service, with drinks being hand delivered to their sun beds!! Drinks around the pool were always served in very small plastic or paper cups; whereas these select patrons were given large glasses of drinks! Come the end of our week stay we still did not understand why some people got direct service and others did not. Restaurants This is where it gets interesting. Nozha beach essentially has four restaurants: a main buffet, a beach restaurant, a Mediterranean and a traditional Tunisian. What the staff do not tell you on check in is that all restaurants bar the buffet have to be booked, and you cannot book the Mediterranean or Tunisian more than once. To book these two restaurants you have to be at the buffet to meet the restaurant manager between 10-12 to book, and you also have to make your food choices on booking. Therefore if you have a large group- bring them with you to book! Both restaurants have a lovely interior, however we actually found that the buffet has the better food. The beach restaurant which we visited twice has a lovely view of the beach, but we found had more limited choices than the main buffet. However they do offer theme nights with live music which is lovely. Make sure to book for those. The main buffet restaurant is where we spent most of our breakfast lunches and dinners. If you are a fussy eater you may struggle, but they did offer pizzas, pastas, lots of meats and vegetables. However, people are not so good at queuing and it became a free for all at times! The Saturday night buffet was next level and knocked the rest of the week out of the park. The other thing we didn’t understand, some tables were beautifully decorated with petals and proper napkins, other tables just the standard set up. Again there didn’t seem to be any explanation on how to get this type of treatment, especially as we were there to celebrate an anniversary. A note for the buffet and beach restaurant, they will not replace your cutlery. Therefore, make sure you hold onto this between plates! At 3pm the pool snack counter opens offering paninis and chips. They also have a counter offering ice cream, crepes and waffles. These are all absolutely lovely, however the queues get very messy and we actually saw a physical altercation over waffles during our stay (I know, over waffles!). Overall Overall I would say Nozha beach is a beautiful hotel, but I’m not sure if I would say it’s overall 4 star. Compared to other four star hotels we have been to it has a long way to go. However, if they ironed out certain things this hotel could be perfect.

This hotel could easily be 5 star ⭐ Firstly their customer service is phenomenal. The hotel is beautiful and the location is ideal. I stayed at this hotel from the 21st November 2025 - 26th November 2025 and I enjoyed every moment of it. 🙌🏽 I will admit it was a bit chilly that time of year and there weren’t too many guests but that didn’t stop the fun times. This is primarily because of the staff would not let it!!! They are so friendly and professional. Me and my friend had an amazing time !!!. I would like to give a special shout out to Wissem, he was so helpful and literally saved some girl who had locked herself out in her hotel room balcony. So the staff are the heart of the hotel. But after that it would be the food . The hotel, had good food throughout the day till 10/11pm as there was a snack bar is open when the main restaurants are closed to make sure you are never hungry 😋. In addition the heated pool was nice and warm, we could swim when the outdoor pools were too cold. Oh and I should mention the entertainment staff was active every night giving us guests a good time. I can’t recommend this place enough. However I would be a terrible reviewer if I didnt mention what I felt keeps them 4 stars 🌟 —-> the hotel bathtubs are in need of renovating. They are so cracked that I literally couldn’t sit down in it. I wish I could say it’s an isolated incident but we literally changed rooms 4 times hoping for better but each room had this issue. So this hotel is lovely 😻 but a bathroom renovation would go a long way.
