TMK Hotel Flora Park by Turismark

We were initially worried coming here due to the mixed reviews but do not let that stop you! This place is a great hotel with great staff! We were greeted by the lovely Ayoub on arrival and our suitcases were taken to our rooms for us. Rooms are huge! They were clean on arrival and cleaned 6 days out the 7 we were there as well as fresh towels daily. Breakfast was lovely choice of fruit, crepes and some local dishes. Also the option for an omelette or fried eggs but make sure to ask for your eggs to be cooked ‘well’ if you don’t want them watery! Dinner on the other hand not great (stone cold food) but we went knowing this and were happy to eat out at night. Pool is lovely and plenty of sunbeds, lifeguard was a great character who would move sunbeds and umbrellas where you needed them. They have a pool bar which is open at lunch and the food there is nice and hot if you don’t fancy walking out in that heat for some food. There is no entertainment at this hotel but there is a nightclub (Zanzibar) next door to the hotel if that’s your thing but the drinks a bit pricey. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the Medina is about a 6 min walk. Overall we would be happy to return and if the food was to improve I think this hotel would go from 4 star to a 5!

The hotel is clean, nice rooms with a really nice pool. It is a good place to base yourself to visit the many sites of interest in this 3,000 year old country. The place we visited (10 in total) were well run, not very busy and well worth it. We chose a taxi for the whole day x 2 for 4 people at a very low cost. The food is really good quality and varied but the real highlight is the fantastic staff where nothing is too much trouble. They provided table service because two of our party were vegitarians even though this was avaliable anyway. Overall this was fantastic value for money in a beautiful country with really friendly and grateful people.

We recently stayed at the TMK Flora Park Hotel and had a great time there. Before we went, but after we had booked, we read a less-than-good review, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a wonderfully clean and welcoming hotel. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. The rooms & en-suite are a good size and balcony overlooking the pool was lovely. The flowers & petals on the bed were a nice touch. The sheets & towels were v clean and changed daily. We asked at reception for a kettle in the room, by the time we got back there was a kettle & tea & coffee provisions. We bought some coffee & milk at a local supermarket. There is a useful fridge in the room! Water is much cheaper if bought at a local supermarket than from the hotel bar, but that’s normal! The food is generally Tunisian and all very tasty, plenty of it! If your preference is burgers and chips this isn’t the place to stay, there places to eat nearby that serve pizzas chips burgers etc. Taxis to the nearby Town of Hammamet are 15 Dinar (£4) it’s well worth a visit, the old town & fort are great for ambling around. We went to Tunisia in low season and so the hotel was not even a quarter full. We felt it was amazing value for money and would happily recommend it.

The hotel is located just a few hundred metres from the Medina in Yasmine Hammamet. The double room, which we stayed in for a week, was large and airy with a splendid view over the swimming pool. It was spotlessly cleaned by very friendly staff with new towels and linen every day. The food in the restaurant was authentic and local in style and plentiful. The swimming pool was clean and tidy and the dedicated area at the beach (just reopening for the upcoming summer) was pleasant and welcoming also. The feel and atmosphere of the hotel was dignified and quiet. Overall it was a most enjoyable stay and outstanding value for money booked through Easijet Holidays.

We stayed here last week of February so temperature was 16 .17; it cost £470 for us both half board with flights cases and transfers so cheap .staff are really nice very friendly the man who cooks the omelettes / pancakes is so nice he started cooking ours when we entered the restaurant.food was ok not the greatest but there was always something to eat as I'm a fussy eater and I was ok coffee/ tea machines for breakfast.know drinks at dinner you either buy or take your own In like we did . Only thing was greedy people pilling several plates on there tables and eating like it's gonna evaporate made me fill sick as they left loads so we had to wait to it was topped up again which was quite fast don't no why people have to be so greedy that's what puts the holiday prices up and it's shameful beer and wine at the bar is nice .bottle wine about £12 bottle beer about £2 didn't try any cocktails.inside pool is nice as weather was to cold for out door pool . grounds are kept tidy and clean there was no entertainment only board games or TV with football but on mute .TV in rooms is sky news and a old films channel only we took iPad so we had something to watch we went in Ramadan which we didn't realise nothing was open only a few supermarkets and tott shops the beach bar was ok we sat there having a beer or 2 a couple days when weather was nice yes I would return again but probably not Ramadan and when bit warmer but all in all what we payed you couldnt complain
