TMK Hotel Flora Park by Turismark

There are some good points to take away from this little hotel, firstly if you want relaxation then this hotel is for you. Its adults only so there was no fighting for sun loungers, no noise, just a really chilled experience. There was Bilel(not correct spelling) who was always getting everyone involved in aerobics and very friendly with everyone. The hotel food hasn't got a great selection, but there was enough to put food on my plate. You do have to pay for water and there is a 10min walk to the beach, but Flora Park does have its own section on the beach. They do need to change the pillows as they were hard as a rock, but rooms are spacious, cleaned on a daily basis. I did experience a leak in my room , but told reception and that evening i was moved to another room, they do look after their customers and are very friendly. This hotel is not full of luxuries, but it was adequate for what i was looking for. If you have a late checkout, there are no facilities to shower and change, so hopefully in time they can maybe look into this for future travellers. Overall, a pleasant stay, would i come again, yes, its a bargain you get what you pay for. Its peace and quiet!1

We have just returned from another wonderful stay at Flora Park and once again had a fantastic holiday. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. The food was lovely. A special mention must go to Fayez and his bar staff, who were absolutely outstanding throughout our stay. Their professionalism, friendliness, and excellent service really made a difference and added to our holiday experience. The restaurant staff also looked after us exceptionally well, always attentive and ensuring everything was perfect at every meal. Flora Park continues to be a great holiday spot, and it's the wonderful staff who make it so special. We are already looking forward to returning again in the future.

We were initially worried coming here due to the mixed reviews but do not let that stop you! This place is a great hotel with great staff! We were greeted by the lovely Ayoub on arrival and our suitcases were taken to our rooms for us. Rooms are huge! They were clean on arrival and cleaned 6 days out the 7 we were there as well as fresh towels daily. Breakfast was lovely choice of fruit, crepes and some local dishes. Also the option for an omelette or fried eggs but make sure to ask for your eggs to be cooked ‘well’ if you don’t want them watery! Dinner on the other hand not great (stone cold food) but we went knowing this and were happy to eat out at night. Pool is lovely and plenty of sunbeds, lifeguard was a great character who would move sunbeds and umbrellas where you needed them. They have a pool bar which is open at lunch and the food there is nice and hot if you don’t fancy walking out in that heat for some food. There is no entertainment at this hotel but there is a nightclub (Zanzibar) next door to the hotel if that’s your thing but the drinks a bit pricey. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the Medina is about a 6 min walk. Overall we would be happy to return and if the food was to improve I think this hotel would go from 4 star to a 5!

The hotel is clean, nice rooms with a really nice pool. It is a good place to base yourself to visit the many sites of interest in this 3,000 year old country. The place we visited (10 in total) were well run, not very busy and well worth it. We chose a taxi for the whole day x 2 for 4 people at a very low cost. The food is really good quality and varied but the real highlight is the fantastic staff where nothing is too much trouble. They provided table service because two of our party were vegitarians even though this was avaliable anyway. Overall this was fantastic value for money in a beautiful country with really friendly and grateful people.

We recently stayed at the TMK Flora Park Hotel and had a great time there. Before we went, but after we had booked, we read a less-than-good review, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a wonderfully clean and welcoming hotel. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. The rooms & en-suite are a good size and balcony overlooking the pool was lovely. The flowers & petals on the bed were a nice touch. The sheets & towels were v clean and changed daily. We asked at reception for a kettle in the room, by the time we got back there was a kettle & tea & coffee provisions. We bought some coffee & milk at a local supermarket. There is a useful fridge in the room! Water is much cheaper if bought at a local supermarket than from the hotel bar, but that’s normal! The food is generally Tunisian and all very tasty, plenty of it! If your preference is burgers and chips this isn’t the place to stay, there places to eat nearby that serve pizzas chips burgers etc. Taxis to the nearby Town of Hammamet are 15 Dinar (£4) it’s well worth a visit, the old town & fort are great for ambling around. We went to Tunisia in low season and so the hotel was not even a quarter full. We felt it was amazing value for money and would happily recommend it.
