Alba Resort Hotel

I stayed at Alba Resort and had a mixed overall experience. On the positive side, the indoor heated pool and the small sauna with a relaxation area were pleasant and good for unwinding. However, the food did not meet expectations. It was often only lukewarm and did not feel like high-quality preparation. In combination with gastrointestinal issues that affected our entire travel group after about three days, this also raises concerns about hygiene. Caution is advised with ice cubes, as they appear to be made from tap water. The pool bar also did not appear clean; old ketchup and mayonnaise bottles were left standing in the sun. The rooms are newly renovated and visually appealing, but extremely poorly soundproofed. They were also very stuffy, as switching between heating and cooling via the air conditioning system was not possible. Rooms on the first floor are long and narrow. While you do get what you booked, upgrades are only offered at a very high additional cost – in our case about double the original price. Cleanliness was disappointing: only the beds were made, but the floors did not appear to have been cleaned. The television in the room did not work. The bathroom is also very small and feels cramped. The overall resort appears somewhat run-down, with many small defects and unfinished areas. Access to the sea is also steep, making the resort unsuitable for guests with mobility issues. Service was another major weakness. The German-speaking guest service was not helpful in resolving issues and mainly seemed focused on calming frustrated guests rather than offering solutions. At the reception, repeated requests (e.g. for batteries for the TV remote) were ignored, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. It was also stated that the hotel was fully booked, although this did not appear to be the case, and no flexible solutions were offered. Room allocation was also disappointing, as only twin beds were provided for a couple. In addition, the in-room safe is subject to an extra charge. The spa area exists, but hammam and massage services are significantly overpriced – even more expensive than in Germany. The photographer and spa sales staff were also very persistent and intrusive. Wi-Fi access is inconvenient, requiring repeated logins via a captive portal several times a day, with no permanent connection available. There is also very limited access to hand sanitiser, which is concerning from a hygiene perspective. Overall, there are a few positive aspects, but they are clearly outweighed by issues with service, room maintenance, facilities, hygiene, and the overall condition of the resort. I would not choose to stay here again.

The hotel is geared for Germans and Russians as is the area surrounding the hotel. We have had no worries about this. Everyone gets along with each other. The hotel waiting staff are very friendly and helpful. They do this if you tip them or not. Unfortunately the reception staff are not able to help very much as they do not understand English very well. Not their problem just as it is. The rooms are spacious although they are a bit outdated but this can be said for the whole hotel. The grounds and pools are well maintained and the beach area is lovely. Even having to walk up hill from the beach there are drink stops that can be found on the way back up. The food is very European although ther is plenty of choice almost 24 hours a day. They serve a hot supper from 11.30 up until 6am. This is great if you have a late arrival time.

Love this place. Fist time I returned to hotel and we spent 3 weeks here. It feels cozy. Great food and great beach.Renovated rooms. It doesn't feel like luxury place, more like cozy place for relax.

Actually I want to write a lot because I went on holiday for the first time in Turkey and it was very nice. The hotel is great, I give it 10 out of 10. I have never seen such a fast working and smiling staff, the food is great, there is everything you want. If you want to have a good holiday I definitely recommend it.

We stayed at Alba Resort Hotel in May 2025 as a family of five – two parents, a grandmother, and two children aged 6 and 9 – and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, and check-in was smooth and efficient. We were soon settled into our spacious and spotless family room, which had comfortable beds, a large balcony overlooking the garden, and separate sleeping areas that gave everyone enough space to relax. The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The greenery, palm trees, and flowers create a peaceful atmosphere, and the large main pool was always clean and inviting. The beach is just a short stroll away and perfect for children – gently sloping with soft sand and clear water. Every morning, we enjoyed long walks along the shore while the kids played by the waves. The all-inclusive dining exceeded our expectations. Breakfast featured a wide variety of fresh items, and the evening meals were full of delicious options, including freshly prepared pasta and grilled meats. Our vegetarian grandmother found plenty of tasty dishes every day, and the desserts were a big hit with the kids! The mini club was a highlight for our youngest – they loved the games, crafts, and friendly staff, while we adults got to enjoy some quiet time at the spa and pool. One small suggestion: during peak times like school holidays, sunbeds by the pool can fill up early, so it’s a good idea to head down in the morning. Still, the staff was always helpful in finding us available spots. In summary: Alba Resort Hotel is a fantastic choice for families who appreciate comfort, cleanliness, and attentive service. We left with lovely memories and are already looking forward to our next stay!
