The room was cleaned on a daily basis the mini bar was always stocked up . Bathrooms all throughout the hotel were very clean . Pools were lovely , wide selection of foods and drinks. Only thing is that most workers didn’t speak much English and food isn’t great for picky eaters . I would 100% go again it was the best holiday I had ever been on . Air conditioning worked perfect weather was gorgeous . All bar staff and workers were very nice kids club was great to get time away.

We spent a wonderful 14 days at Calido Maris and honestly… where do I even begin? The hotel staff — reception, bar teams, restaurant staff, entertainment — everyone was incredibly kind, helpful and always smiling. They truly made our stay special. The food was very good and there’s something for everyone. The only downside were the evening queues, which some guests create completely unnecessarily (honestly, no idea why 🤣). During lunchtime you don’t even need to get dressed and go back to the main restaurant — you can also eat by the pool or on the beach. Of course the selection is smaller there, but still good and convenient. One annoying thing was that people would reserve sunbeds very early in the morning. Until 7 AM there was a staff member removing towels from “reserved” loungers, but after that there was no real control anymore. Our room was cleaned every day and we had a beautiful view from the balcony. There are slides for both kids and adults, and the kids’ club was open daily as well. The massage at the spa was nice, although the constant encouragement to book more treatments became a bit tiring after a while. The excursions organised through the hotel were great too. The beach is sandy, but there are stones at the entrance to the sea, so water shoes are definitely useful. Every evening there’s a mini disco for children followed by entertainment for adults. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about — the hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and we truly didn’t want to leave! That’s why we’re already planning to return soon with the whole family — and we’re bringing a few friends with us as well. We can’t wait for our next holiday at Calido Maris… and of course for their delicious mojitos from the Vitamin Bar — the BEST! 🍹✨

I want to give a fair and balanced review. We did not choose this hotel, it was allocated after the hotel we chose decided to close early for end of season. We were told it was like for like, even though it was cheaper than our chosen hotel. However we went with an open mind. Check in - This was extremely straight forward. The staff were lovely, despite being early hours of the morning and offered food. We were told were to find our room and our luggage was taken to the room after us. We were on minus one and the completely opposite side of the hotel. Room - The corridors around the accommodation are carpets which really does keep the noise down. The room itself looked as though it had been recently refreshed with wall paper on one wall. the bathroom is an odd configuration but works. there is a fridge in the room with some local pop/juice and water. There are tea and coffee facilities. there was plenty of storage so overall on the face of it all was good, however, being on minus one there are 6 floors above us and anytime anybody flushed the toilet in the night our plumbing made awful noises. we ended up putting towels on the plug to dull this. The aircon was either on or off, there was no controlling the temperature which impacted sleep. Pool area - pool area is not an area we spent a great deal of time around as it was too loud for us as a couple but for families it was brilliant with slides for all ages and splash pads, It was surrounded by a place to get fresh flat breads, a bar, a large snack bar, ice-creams, and then a couple of paid services including a spar (where you get your pool/beach towels), a juice bar, specialist ice-creams and just inside are an array of shops. Beach - we prefer a beach location and was assured this substitute hotel was just that. There are 6 lanes of traffic between the hotel and the beach (a bit like the M1) and there is a tunnel under the road to get to the road to get to the beach. The traffic noise was constant and not really my idea of a beach hotel. At the beach there is lots of beds and shade, there are toilets a bar and a beach snack bar. The bar here serves soft drinks, beer or wine. there is also the ice cream stand and a couple of stands that are cash only for corn on the bob, popcorn and candyfloss. There is a camel in the afternoons and the volley ball games are played at the beach. The beach has nice sand but the sea is very very Stoney, uneven and hard to stand in without falling down a hole. I would not want my grandchildren in there. Food - there are two specialist restaurants where you have to book in, one visit per 7 day visit. Both were really nice and lots of food served. The main restaurant has inside and outside seating. There is a grill bar and pizza station. At breakfast there is an impressive selection of breads and cakes. We found the food at the beach bar extremely poor, often overcooked and cold so chose to walk back to the main restaurant. We noticed that the food selection (especially the fruit) deteriorated significantly during our stay as the hotel wound down. a bit like cupboards at home before a big shop but this was our holiday and should not have been the case. There was always something to eat but not the best. Entertainment - we were at the beach during the day but on the two days by the pool there was activities happening all of the time. we noticed a children's club that was well utilised. The entertainment team waked around the hotel as if they owned it, pushed in at the bar despite paying guests, and focused on those they made friends with rather than trying to engage all guests. We go abroad three to four times a year and i have to say (not light heatedly) that this was the worst entertainment team we have come across. Bars - as with all hotels in this price range the all inclusive package is local brands and anyone expecting different will be disappointed. Its was ok but the staff were fantastic, particularly on minus one floor. lots of ice throwing keeping people entertained. Customer service - i want to mention the male customer service guy as he was always approachable, helpful and very pleasant and I hope they get him back next year as he is a credit to the hotel. Cleanliness - our room was cleaned most days (had to remind them we were still in hat part of the hotel during the ned of our stay. However, it was not thorough, i.e. sinks not cleaned etc. same in the communal areas, people constantly walking around with brushes but no structure which meant responding to spills ect but no routine daily cleans (peanut under one table for three days). Same around the pool and the beach. not dirty but not clean. This is a cheap holiday and worth what is paid, however, its unlikely we would return as its not what we would choose unless we came back with our grandchildren.
