I travel to Turkey often and regularly stay in 5-star hotels, and this is the first time I’ve ever experienced anything like this. We stayed here for 7 nights and this hotel is nowhere near a genuine 5-star standard - realistically it’s a 3-star property at best, with “renovated” rooms that only look updated on the surface. Room & cleanliness: We were moved through 4 different rooms because every single one was dirty, including visible mold in the bathroom. We only received shower gel once during the entire 7-day stay. Reception & staff response to complaints: When we complained about the rooms, the receptionist was completely indifferent. By the 3rd room, when we told him again that we were unhappy, he just walked away without addressing it. During the move to the 2nd room, staff helped carry our luggage at first, but then simply changed out of their uniforms and left laughing, with no concern for how we would actually get ourselves and our luggage to the new room afterward. Food & comfort: Very limited food selection for an all-inclusive 5-star. The dining area was uncomfortably hot, with the AC leaking water onto the floor. Serious staff misconduct: During a spa massage, a staff member touched me inappropriately, including touching my breasts and asking if I liked it, then persistently tried to get my personal contact information. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional conduct that should never happen in any hotel spa. Throughout the stay, the hotel manager also made comments of a sexual nature toward me that were disrespectful and inappropriate for how any guest should be treated. He was additionally rude and disrespectful toward my partner. My partner also experienced repeated harassment from a bartender who kept asking for her phone number and Instagram despite her saying no multiple times. He then made us an unlabeled “special drink” that we didn’t trust and chose not to drink. Overall: Staff conduct here was unprofessional and disrespectful on multiple occasions, on top of serious hygiene failures and indifferent management. This hotel does not deserve its 5-star rating and we would not recommend it, especially to anyone concerned about basic safety and professionalism from staff.
