Location - 20 mins from main Alanya. Clothes Shops around hotel and a few restaurants. Food: Not catered for british. Vegetables and Chips for breakfast. Hardly any fresh fruit. Just watermelon and peaches . Food is not for british. Snack bar is ok but same thing everyday. No sandwich or rolls any time of day . Dinner: very odd food choice, a missmash of very odd combinations. Lamb trotter soup and fried heart soup. Pool: great , entertainment team really good and friendly . Clean pool side. Other: Do not drink water or brush teeth or use ice cubes in drinks , sickness and diarrhoea had by 10 of 28 group and when got home British dr thinks its from bacteria in water that caused sickness. Do not risk it . Lovely hotel and great rooms / cleaners come in and clean every day. Great things to do excursions. Food really lets this place down for British. Drinks run out also their own Malibu had none for 3 days. Stop serving drinks at 11pm when entertainment still on and then get charged to your room for any ordered. Ice creams are only allowed between 2-3pm everyday. Very disappointed when booking a 4* hotel I've been to much better 3* .

We have just returned from a 10-night stay, and unfortunately this is one of the few holidays where we've come home feeling disappointed rather than refreshed. I've made this as honest as I can. I'll start with the positives because there were some. The hotel itself was clean, the rooms were kept tidy, and the staff worked hard and were always polite and friendly. The service really wasn't the problem. Sadly, almost everything else was. We travel abroad because we love experiencing the local culture and cuisine. We weren't expecting an English fry-up every morning or fish and chips every night, we wanted authentic Turkish food and meals that made sense for the time of day. Instead, breakfast often consisted of things like strange vegetables, salads and foods that simply didn't feel like breakfast. One evening, lamb trotters appeared on the menu, which might appeal to some, but overall the food was extremely repetitive, lacked variety and, more importantly, was very difficult to enjoy. The fruit selection was sparse and often looked bruised and damaged, as though it had been gathered from whatever was left over. It certainly wasn't fresh or appetising. The biggest concern, however, was illness. Our group consisted of 28 people ranging from young children to adults aged 51. Almost every single one of us suffered with sickness and diarrhoea at some point during or immediately after the holiday. After returning to the UK, one of us were told by doctors that our symptoms were consistent with a water-borne infection. We obviously can't say with certainty where it came from, but the number of people affected in one group is far too much to ignore, and future guests should at least be aware. The all-inclusive drinks were also very limited. Spirits consisted of local gin, vodka and whisky, along with one local beer that, if we're being honest, wasn't particularly pleasant. The bars were open from 10am until 11pm, which sounds good, but there was another strange decision: the entertainment area had no adult bar. If you wanted an alcoholic drink while watching the evening entertainment, you had to leave, walk back to the hotel bar and join a queue, which was regularly ignored by people who apparently believe queuing is an optional British hobby! The ice cream cart was another disappointment, operating for only one hour each day. With so many families staying at the hotel, this seemed unnecessarily restrictive. The rooms were adequate, but most of the "double beds" were simply two single beds pushed together, which isn't ideal if you're expecting an actual double bed. Another thing to bear in mind is the location. There isn't a great deal nearby, so if you want to explore you'll be relying on local buses or Uber/taxis. We've stayed in several 3-star hotels in Greece over the years, and every single one has comfortably exceeded the standard of this hotel. In our honest opinion, this is nowhere near a 4-star resort. We'd rate it as a 2-star hotel with full board at a push. We're genuinely disappointed because Turkey is a beautiful country with wonderful people, and we were so excited to experience more of its food and culture. Sadly, this hotel didn't give us that experience. Would we return? Unfortunately, no. We have just returned from a 10-night stay, and unfortunately this is one of the few holidays where we've come home feeling disappointed rather than refreshed.
