We stayed here (‘All-Inclusive’) from 11th-18th June 2026 and were very disappointed from the off. We checked in 1am on 11.6.26 and when we got up for breakfast you could not even get an orange juice with your breakfast- you had to pay extra. Then there was the cocktails- €19 for 2 as cocktails weren’t included in the ‘All inclusive’. Our 3 kids were also disappointed to discover that nor were ice creams. The pools were dirty and smelt rotten. Constant pestering from staff when you are trying to relax by the pool trying to sell you ‘extras’. The worst of all was our 8 year old son falling ill on the last day (18.6.26), after eating exclusively at the resort- stomach and back ache and later on the way home feeling sick. This got progressively worse once we arrived back to the UK. He ended up at the out of hours GP late on 21.6.26 and at our GP 22.6.26 morning and we returned to out of hours later that night due to extreme diarrhoea and blood in his stool, as well as vomiting. He was admitted to a children’s ward and stool samples confirmed salmonella. He spent the next 4 days as an inpatient on an intravenous drip. It took 3 weeks for a full recovery. We raised a complaint with On the Beach who we booked through and after the Hotel REFUSED to accept any responsibility (despite only eating their food from 11th-18th June). On the Beach offered us a ‘goodwill’ gesture of a couple of hundred pounds in the form of a holiday voucher, we have since taken legal action and this has been officially reported to Public Health in both UK and Turkey. Please avoid until this hotel improves- if you google search you will see several other similar complaints, specifically about salmonella outbreaks.

I have no idea why all the negative comments. I was dreading going after some of the reviews but there was no need. Greeting at reception on arrival was lovely and offered an upgraded room (which we took but haggle on price as they will come down). Hotel was always being cleaned. Swimming pools got busy but enough room for everyone. It is slippy around the pool so watch out. Lifeguards every where and very friendly. Service in bars was always good. Drinks are not as strong as home but you can order how ever many you like. I use to get the pre made cocktails in the lobby bar and get an extra vodka to add into it. Food was plentiful. So much choice and tasted lovely. My 15 year old is a fussy eater and he really enjoyed it. Remember it is a Muslim country so the hotels don’t have bacon or sausage but there were fresh omelettes made to your liking. Fresh pancakes. Plus all the usual breakfast stuff. Think I counted 5 different types of eggs alone. Slides were great fun. Pool games were good but they don’t always let the kids play. That was the only draw back. Water polo started out as anyone then changed to adults only. Made a visit to guest services (as entertainment team dismissed us) and they got it sorted for the next day. Cant fault the hotel for that. We found beds comfy and if you tip the cleaners (even €1 a day) they love to leave you swans and hearts on the bed. We got the bus to McDonald’s in Konalki from outside the hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Far more choice than UK and bus was only £2 each way. The island also has lots going on and if you have teenagers the lads gather at the Astro pitches on the island each evening. We felt very safe there. The hotel is extremely big but we really enjoyed it.

Hotel food is really good, rooms are very clean and nice island entertainment is so great beko is the best one in the team and we definitely will come back again
