Elysee Beach Hotel

Excellent hotel with everything you could look for at a great hotel in turkey. The reception and bar staff offered great service; very hospital. Beach in connection with hotel which also is a big plus!

Hotel: The elevator was perfectly fine—small, but adequate. The room was superb; we got the best one—room 505—after "negotiating" at the front desk with a lovely young lady, since we had originally been assigned a different room. Note that the rooms with a full sea view are located in the sections with rooms 105–605 and 106–606. However, you can also see the sea from the 104–604 sections. The room was very clean, and we kept it tidy ourselves on a daily basis. The bathroom looked fantastic; I plan to install a similar shower system in my own home. Housekeeping: We had daily cleaning service, though with a few caveats. They changed the towels on their own initiative during the first two days and changed the bed linen on the second day; however, once they saw we were tidy and clean—and realized we weren't tipping—they only changed the towels when we left them on the shower floor. Everything you need for showering is provided—shampoo, shower gel, body lotion—so there's no need to bring your own; supplies are plentiful. Reception services: Everyone was very pleasant, though the person who appeared to be the manager was much more communicative with guests from Nordic countries than with Romanians. Location: The location is excellent; you are 500 meters from the cable car leading to the Castle—turn left upon exiting the hotel onto the street. However, be aware that paying the €12 per person isn't enough; you need strong legs to climb a long flight of stairs to reach the main attraction and explore it thoroughly. Consequently, this is not a suitable place for individuals with mobility issues, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. Beach: Very good—that’s why I chose the hotel. You step out of the hotel and right onto a beach with decent sand. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost 600 TL per day. However, people didn't really use the sunbeds, likely due to the price. I asked Ali, the beach attendant, if I could use a sunbed without armrests located in the sixth row, but he said he wasn't allowed to let me. Those ones were never occupied anyway. Grocery shopping: If you’re up for the walk, find a Migros market; you can buy a beer for 2.50 euros and a 1.5L bottle of water for 12 TL. There is a Migros 1.1 km to the left as you exit the hotel, and another 600 m to the right. At the hotel dinner—where drinks aren't included—a can of Efes costs 5 euros. It’s not worth it. Taxi: The ride from the hotel to the port cost 250 TL, but on the way back in the evening, they were asking for 350 TL. You absolutely must negotiate. They do turn on the meter—since they face frequent traffic checks—but you still need to negotiate; I noticed the meter actually showed 160 TL. Meals: The breakfast and dinner were excellent; we had a half-board (HB) package. Anyone claiming there was nothing to eat is lying. There were salads, vegetables, fruit, cakes, and various meats. The dinner menu wasn't the same over the seven days. It ranged from fish, chicken, and beef to lamb... though no pork. The food was very good. I apologize if my English wasn't very good... but you'll understand...

Staff was very kind, rooms clean and air condition working good. Hotel is very close to the beach, food could be better, also they charged us 10€ for early accommodation (usually 25€ but special price just for US hahahah) also u have to buy drinks at dinner from the bar, hotel is small so not very loud and good for couples, although i can imagine when all rooms are full it might be crowded

Only positive memories from this hotel, food was good, location amazing, reception workers very helpful, especially thanks to Vedat. I recommend so much 😁🥰
