Hotel Royal Atlantis Spa & Resort

honestly don’t understand how Royal Atlantics Raspier & Spa Side has such high ratings. This hotel is very old and outdated — they never mention the last renovation date,l It might have looked ok 20 years ago, but now it’s far from modern or luxurious. The food is poor: there’s very little variety, the same options appear for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and many dishes look unappetizing and old. There are no gluten-free or lactose-free options, and even the coffee is instant Nescafé instead of fresh brew. The cleanliness is terrible. Dishes, tables, and chairs are dirty and often damaged. The pool area is in bad condition — my son even got a deep cut from a broken surface. The smell in the lobby is disgusting as soon as you enter, definitely not what you expect from a spa hotel. In the room, there are no basic amenities like conditioner, body lotion, or tissues. The soap provided is cheap and unclear whether it’s for hair or body. It feels more like a budget motel, not a 5-star resort. Overall, this hotel is overpriced and misrepresented. It’s nothing like the beautiful modern resorts in the area that truly deserve five stars. I would never come back and don’t recommend anyone to waste their money here.

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience of the hotel and are now considering legal action.We booked a large family room which was actually a disabled room. As a family of 5 with teenage girls they were squeezed into a small main room with nowhere to empty their suitcases so had to leave all of their clothes in them for 10 days. The room was overdue a refurbishment and smelled of sewers. This was the least of our problems. From the very first use of the shower to the last day of our stay the shower room poured water out into the hallway and our room soaking everything. We had to use ALL of our bath towels on the floor which didn’t come close to soaking up the water. We complained every day to reception and told ‘an engineer will be sent’ to fix the problem. Engineers came every day with no success. We requested to be moved but were told on two or three occasions that the hotel was full. The eldest daughter also slipped on the wet floor injuring herself as well. The hotel communication since has been very poor with an offer of 50% of a massage and a free upgrade if we go back. We are now considering legal action for a refund and compensation as the hotel have not yet acknowledge my last email. Avoid!

Great hotel ,we enjoyed a lot ,all staff were wonderful and helpful,especially Miss Terife and Ismayil bay thankful for everything.

The hotel lived up to most of the expectations - we were really happy with the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms throughout our stay, the bar served non alcoholic drinks which was great and there was a range of services we used including the facials ect, we would definitely come back here - the only downside would be the food in the evening wasn’t great and it was very difficult to find a table and even when we did - the evening food left us a little hungry as there wasn’t many appetising options in our opinion, I would stay in this hotel again and eat out for dinner most nights however the breakfast was lovely and the lunch was standard pizzas wraps ect cannot complain as most all inclusives are the same
