Hotel Sunlight Garden

I was very disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine all-inclusive experience. This hotel was advertised to us as a 4-star all-inclusive resort, but in reality it feels more like a poor-quality 3-star hotel. The biggest issue was that “all inclusive” clearly does not mean all inclusive here. You have to pay extra for almost everything. Any type of cocktail costs €8 each, which was extremely frustrating. As a woman, I don’t drink beer or wine, so apart from soft drinks there was basically nothing included for me to drink. I have never stayed at an all-inclusive hotel where you have to pay extra for cocktails or even €2 for orange juice at breakfast. To make things worse, you also have to pay to use the safe in your room — €5 per day — which is something that should absolutely be included. The food buffet was very small with very limited choices, and after a short stay it became repetitive. Overall, the quality and selection were disappointing. The room situation was also poor. We were only given a thin sheet to cover ourselves with during the night and we were freezing. There were two blankets left in the room, but they had no covers on them, and honestly I didn’t feel comfortable using them because I had no idea who had used them before or whether they had been cleaned properly. The hotel also advertises a “private beach,” but there is no all-inclusive beach bar. Everything apart from the food has to be purchased separately. We ended up spending around £80 per day on cocktails at the beach alone, which completely defeats the purpose of booking an all-inclusive holiday. To make matters even worse, one of the men working at the beach — who clearly seemed connected with the hotel — even tried to overcharge us by an extra £30 for drinks, seemingly assuming we wouldn’t notice or be able to convert the currency properly. That experience left a very bad impression and made us feel completely taken advantage of. For us this was meant to be a relaxing few-day getaway, but instead it felt like the hotel was constantly trying to charge extra for everything possible. When people book an all-inclusive hotel, they expect drinks, snacks, and basic services to actually be included — otherwise they could simply book everything separately for much better value. Overall, this was a very poor-quality “all-inclusive” experience and I honestly question how genuine some of the positive reviews are. I will definitely never make the mistake of booking such a cheap all-inclusive hotel again.

The staff are so friendly and helpful especially erkan, sinan, eda, hilal and many others but mainly the entertainment team. They are all so happy and full of live so can not make one comment about the staff being bad apart from some dont smile but thats it. The food is nice but not loads of options and would be nice if they had different cultured foods each night but over all food is good. The music during the day is quite repetitive so would be good to have more options of music and the entertainment on a night is really fun but also repetitive. Overall, the hotel is really nice and the staff are brilliant and just really lovely and funny too.

I had a great hoilday. The Animation team was good , my kids loved Eda. The Bar was amazing, emine cocktails are the best, total worth the extra charge. My daughter loved her broad and hair from Freaser tolga. Booked a Tattoo with mehmet (angel) - his folio is amazing and so is my tattoo 💚 xx

best hotel i’ve ever been to , second year here and the staff are excellent there is nothing to fault there are many shops outside of the hotel and a lot of places to book excursions or even to hire a vehicle . Definitely recommend will definitely be returning

amazing staff, the staff that made our holiday in particular are Eda(kids animator) , Emine(bartender) , Tolgahan( Hair/Beauty) - worker in the salon in the hotel , mehmet -( Tattoo/peircing man). Second year at this hotel and there’s nothing to fault about it. Everything is amazing and will definitely be visiting again!!
