I rarely leave reviews, but I am extremely disappointed with this hotel, which is advertised as being family-friendly and ideal for children. People smoke everywhere. It happens around the main pools, the children’s pools, and even in the amphitheater during children’s entertainment. It’s absolutely unacceptable. It is almost impossible to find a place on the beach or by the pool where you don’t have to breathe in cigarette smoke. This hotel seems to cater more to smokers than to families with children. If you’re traveling with children, I would strongly recommend choosing a different hotel. Overall, the hotel itself is nice, but I cannot recommend it to families with children because of the widespread smoking throughout the resort.

Here is the updated review, with the frustrating lack of storage added into the section about the room. --- **Title: A lovely hotel, but a solid 4-star experience with flawed systems for families** **Rating:** ★★★☆☆ (3/5) We recently stayed at the Leodikya Kirman Premium. On the whole, it is a lovely hotel, but it operates like a solid 4-star rather than the true 5-star premium standard it claims to be. While the staff across the resort are all lovely and there is absolutely no lack of effort, there is a distinct lack of experience and organization that you would expect at a 5-star level. First, the hotel heavily prioritizes adults when it comes to the pool and entertainment. Kids were actually moved out of the shallow end of the pool to make way for adult games. There are plenty of activities for adults, but days often go by with seemingly nothing for the kids. Communication about activities is incredibly poor: the main activity board only lists adult games, and while they send a daily WhatsApp, it’s incomplete. They really should have a physical board that clearly shows exactly what kids' activities are on and where. For example, there was daily kids' water polo and football, but we only stumbled upon them by chance because they weren't mentioned anywhere. To make matters more complicated, much of the kid-friendly areas and activities (like the kids' water polo) are located at the sister hotel next door, Arycanda Kirman Premium. The hotels supposedly share outside facilities, but if you have a Leodikya wristband, you are barred from getting food or drinks around the Arycanda pool. It is frankly ridiculous to expect guests at a 5-star resort to walk 10 minutes back and forth just to get a drink while watching their kids play. When we complained, they did change our wristbands for the last few days so we could use both areas, but we shouldn't have had to ask—this should be a given. Our experience with the family rooms also highlighted some bizarre shortcomings. For starters, there was a complete lack of storage. Between four people, we had just one wardrobe to share. In the kids' bedroom, the only storage provided was a desk and a single drawer in a bedside table, which is incredibly impractical for a family holiday. Another frustrating room issue was the air conditioning, which is controlled centrally by the hotel. For our first three days, it was set to a comfortable 18 degrees, but then it was suddenly changed to 22 degrees. We asked reception three separate times to lower it, only to be told that it couldn't be changed and that "22 degrees was fine." In the end, our assistant had to step in and help us get it lowered back to 18. Having to repeatedly ask and fight for basic room comfort does not feel like a 5-star experience. Dining and drinks were also a mixed bag. The main lunch area in the Leodikya was visually lovely, but it completely lacked air conditioning. Trying to sit down for a midday meal in there was boiling hot and quite uncomfortable. The a la carte dining was another letdown. Again, the staff put in the effort, but the operation is very poorly run and felt incredibly rushed. At one point, we had our starters on the table and the tiramisu was already being delivered! We were seated at 7:30 PM, dessert was served by 8:15 PM, and most people had finished and left the restaurant by 8:30 PM. It felt more like a plated buffet being rushed to your table than an elevated restaurant experience. Oddly, we were told the restaurant was fully booked, yet it was half empty during our meal. When it comes to drinks, the lobby bar is absolutely your best bet for any real variation. Everywhere else on the property, you will struggle to find premium alcohol, which is another area where the resort falls short of its premium label. Overall, it is a lovely property with kind staff, but the lack of organization, frustrating wristband rules, impractical family rooms, central aircon battles, and poor communication for families hold it back. A solid 4-star holiday, but it falls short of a 5-star experience.

We really liked this hotel. It was a wonderful experience for our family. The food even won over our expectations, tasting excelent and looking extravagant. The housekeeper was the sweetest and always would leave swans made out of towels not expecting any money in return. The staff was as well very welcoming and kind. The parties were very extraordinary and thanks to the DJ we had the best times to enjoy ourselves and dance to the music.
