Seaden Valentine Resort & Spa

I have just come back from this hotel,it was not my first holiday in this hotel,but definitely my last,because I had to deal with a very rude behaviour of some waiters,who are very polite and helpful only to German tourists,everyone else is simply ignored.The hotel has become like a German retirement home,rather than a 5* hotel,so if you are interested in this kind of holiday you will be fine.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you should not book this hotel. If you like noise, you will be fine here. There are certainly positive aspects about this hotel: large rooms, nice shower, clean, close to the beach, 45 min walk to Side on the boulevard, baklava every day, the fresh waffles and most of the staff is friendly. But the constant noise prevails and cannot be ignored: at the pool and on the (breakfast)terrace you can hear the air conditioner of the neighboring hotel humming 24/7. It is very loud (70 dB) with a screeching sound a few times a minute as if metal is being cut. Also, in the morning several garbage trucks come beeping by and the glass container is emptied with a lot of noise and shouting. Then the boom boom music at the pool is turned on at 10 am. If you sit as far away from the boxes as possible it's less annoying but then you constantly smell a sewer smell.... On the beach you also constantly hear loud music from the hotels behind it or you hear the engines of the speedboats and jet skis that are right next to the Valentine beach. Other guests also play their own music at the pool or beach and the staff unfortunately tolerates this. In our room you could also hear the boom boom music from the other hotels in the area and/or the neighbors until 23h30 and sometimes later. In short, it's impossible to have a moment of peace and quiet here. Some other small points of improvement: towels too small for the sunbeds, hardly any service at the lobby/terrace, you get water in plastic cups, only plastic cutlery at the beach bar, little choice at the lunch buffet, staff only speaks to you in German when ordering something (even at the reception the gentleman spoke incomprehensible English) and you have to pay for a safe in your room. We will not return here nor will we recommend this hotel to anyone because of the 24/7 noise pollution and I would even recommend you to book another hotel if you still can!

We spent 11 nights at the valentine hotel wich was a fab time ..everything was good A large room with a balcony comfortable bed ..shower and sink were seperated wich was easy to use ..two wardrobes and a coffee set with kettle changed everyday ..housekeeping staff were always on time Food was delicious warm with variety of choice ...breakfast buffet also rich of fruit and pancakes ..omlettes and eggs .. Snack bar menu was also a great surprise for us we found pizza burgers soups salads and dessert wich was enough for us ( our meal was served in less than 2 minutes ) bravo . Service at the lounge or on the beach bar was perfect with Abdullah a nice guy always smiling and good humor Entertainment was great at the day time all international music was played with different activities such as darts with Chacha a great lad who speaks german english and russian fluently and giving positive vibes to everyone ..evening shows were nice and pool parties every week ... Thnak you for the great time .

So 5 star review, why!!! The management of the hotel is fantastic. No I don’t work here. My wife read a lot of reviews before picking this hotel, and booked a swim up room, there are only ten rooms that have a private pool, it is not wide but at least 30m long. This really gives a nice area to read and chill. The occupants range from English, German, Danish, Dutch, Belgium, Russian and Turkish. People were very nice and mixed well. The staff are professional and friendly. From reception to the cleaners who do a exceptional job. Buffet restaurant: the food was cooked well and catered to all pallets, they had a good selection of herbs and spices to lift the flavours if required. The pool restaurant served really nice fresh to order food from fish to Turkish pizza (pide). Again the staff and management was great. The night bar played a huge variety of music and had live music. The animation team are based here and go out their way to make the stay a bit better. Going back to the management, they are walking about regularly and pay attention to detail. The hair and nail salon was nice if a little expensive for Turkey. The Haman was clean and the staff very nice. I don’t say this often but I would revisit as it’s probably the best hotel I have visited in Turkey, the whole experience was great. I have been to better hotels around the world but nothing I have visited has given this standard of package

was very pleased with level of service at this resort. Both bar and restaurant staff were great and very respectful. Food standard and variation was good. It was a very late booking for me and wanted a peaceful vacation from the same old same old from my normal routine. Adults only resort was excellent. Would recommend this hotel for couples and even singles.
