Sun City Apartments & Hotel

Absolutely appalling room. I stayed in Apartment 631. The place is advertised on easyJet website as 3 Star. It really only deserves 1 Star. The staff are lovely.

Sun city is a nice hotel,very friendly & helpful staff, very clean with 2 large pools, a restaurant & bar, pool bar & games area, spa with Turkish bath, sauna & masage, at extra cost, fish spa at extra cost, the girl that sells this Sara is very nice & helpful, she even offered an extra fish spa session for free for us after our first session. the rooms could do with a little attention, there’s no lift to upper floors we stayed in room630 overlooking the pool & it had nice large balcony with a table & chairs,the rooms consisted of, a small kitchen with a fridge & small 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster, a toilet/ shower room with a nice walk in shower, which could’ve done with a larger shower head, but the water got hot fairly quickly & the pressure was good, towels provided, the bedroom had a double & single bed, the double was quite firm, but comfortable, with nice clean bedding with fairly firm pillows,better than too soft, the double bed only had one small duvet though & we had to ask for an extra, which was provided next day, but we’re given a blanket in the meantime our room was serviced every day & if you want replacement towels you only have to ask & they happily provide them The hotel is well situated for local restaurants, there’s lots within a short walking distance,if you want to visit the old town & see the Roman ruins, go to the beach or eat there, you can get a small bus (dolmus) for a few lira or take a trip to Manavgat for the market, great if you like fake designer gear As with most of turkey there’s quite a few cats knocking about & the hotel has a couple of resident dogs & cats A word of warning- don’t fall for the sales pitch of the reps selling trips,you can get these at half the price of local agents, there’s quite a few around, but people generally recommend side hill tours on the main boulevard, they’re very friendly & far cheaper than what your rep charges Don’t take any notice of negative reviews of this hotel it’s not a luxury hotel, but very nice & we would definitely go again & recommend you give it a go

Arrived early evening to a fabulous welcome from receptionist and the two local golden retrievers ..she advised to go and get something to eat as the restaurant closing shortly. Apartment was spotless and spacoius ..lovely balcony to sit an relax on. Food was fabulous ..no need to go hungry at all..such a selection. Supermarket and shops close by to walk to ..dolmus regularly (pay) take to old town. What makes this a lovely hotel is the staff ..all were soo welcoming and friendly in every area/department of the hotel. I came to relax and thats what I did. Huge thank you from paula & james

Very nice hotel good location near shops bars and beach friendly staff great selection of food and drink we loved it we originally booked for 7 nights all inclusive and decided to stay another week we were enjoying it that much management and staff went over and above to assist and make sure we had a good experience we have booked up again to come back 14th may

Me and my partner had our first holiday together and was a bit nervous as neither of us had been abroad for a very long time but the nerves quickly vanished as soon as we booked in we were welcomed with friendly faces at the reception even though we checked in late in the night. Woke the next day and had a wander around and was amazed at how clean the hotel was. 4 lovely looking pools that were cleaned every evening. We had booked into the hotel as self catering and as we hadn’t had a chance to venture around we decided to have a few drinks at the bar and try the food. We were welcomed like old friends and let me tell you the quality of the food and the friendliness of the bar staff kept us coming back every night to try a different dish and every different dish we chose tasted great but the kebab and the Chateaubriand steak were the highlight with it being cooked at our table side. The room was basic but everything that we wanted and was cleaned very regularly. The hotel was situated close to a few local supermarkets and was a 20 minute walk down to the beach while having a look in a few shops although a bit of a hill to walk back up. Although this was our first holiday together and we have talked about different places we would like to go this keeps coming back up for us to come and visit again very soon if not on our next holiday
