Sun City Apartments & Hotel

Honest review The location is great nice 25 - 30 mins walk to old town side or just few minutes walk there are shops and restaurants. Close to beach if you find the short cuts 🤣. The atmosphere over in the main pool is great music is on entertainment staff are great. But good luck getting a sun lounger . There is also a kids club and little playground for kids but at night no lights but they honestly dont care and neither do I. There's a pool with 2 slides open 10 -12 and 2-4 which tbh isnt great but kids love it when its open there good fun even for adults. the lifeguard isnt so friendly and definitely wouldnt be counting on him saving anyone. We stayed in 2 one bed apartments that u can also use for self catering there dated but no issue for me but they are not what they look like on the websites at all 🤣 i dont even know if them apartments exist they have the pictures of. We stayed across from the hotel where the apartments are located just across the road and there is another pool its very quiet and plenty sun loungers and kids happy swimming around. All the staff are absolutely lovely very friendly and mess with the kids all the time making them laugh. They come over the other quiet side were at and bring drinks from the all inclusive over for u so u dont have run back and forth. There is a restaurant called easy rider which is attached to sun city its music rock themed the food is lovely staff are really nice and recommend you definitely try it its not part of the all inclusive but not expensive at all. The food this is the worst all inclusive food I've been to and ive been to many but it is literally the same thing every single day im not fussy at all but this took the biscuit. I always got something to eat but if its not cooked some of it is fresh in front of you then you are gonna get luke warm food and i mean luke warm 🤣 but what i did eat was nice. They advertise like having pizza etc for kids no such thing exists. Chicken nuggets chips or a pitta bread eith bitta cheese in it (pizza) but its not 🤣 my kid is fussy but chicken nuggets or soup is all he would eat . It is not child friendly unless ur child eats a good variety of food. One night there wasn't even chicken nuggets but chicken snitzel I could built a wall with it was that soild 🤣 nuggets are also hit and miss either good and soft of absolutely soild. Breakfast is good plenty of different things to eat found it all good. Loads cats and dogs about that are in the hotel very friendly most people feed them. There are cats walking around where u eat inside and they do jump up on the chairs but very rarely now ot doesnt bother me at all but for some it might. The rooms are cleaned everyday but there are still ants everywhere but not millions though found them in the bed which I wasn't keen on. The shower broke and hairdryer wasn't working in room neither was air con but fixed that afternoon when reported in the morning. All in all it is a nice place but wouldnt do the all inclusive maybe just breakfast if you got a good deal wouldnt be paying what I paid for to stay here but was dear due to specific dates and needing 2 rooms etc. I wouldn't rush to come back but I would stay again as all the people are really nice and all areas are kept very clean.

It was very good. Good animation. Good food ..Good cocktails there is so nice stuffs animation team are so good at the morning they have so much activities you wont get bored also at the nights they have every day different shows you will enjoy it definitely recommended. Especially Mike , Beko and Fırat you make our holiday wonderful

Terrible hotel. Pool areas absolutely stink of urine. The cleaners were very sweet and lovely but the rooms were not cleaned to a good standard. We also saw cleaners asleep in the stair wells a few times ☹️ The night we arrived there were two family’s in reception asking to be given new rooms and theirs were disgusting (I didn’t see them but ours wasn’t great). I went with family but two separate groups. One was all inclusive, one was not. I was eating from the all inclusive restaurant outside, one of my family members came to say hello and the staff came over to tell me I could not share my food with her unless she paid.. she wasn’t even eating, she had just had lunch off the resort.. they watched me like a hawk while I was eating to make sure she didn’t pinch a chip! 😂 Food was also very average. Staff were very rude and aggressive, not just to our family we saw it with others too. I was told to “hurry up” when I was getting my card out of my bag paying the bill at the end of the night. My partner was so shocked and asked him to just be patient. The staff then started talking about us in Turkish, it ended in one of the staff members pushing my brother. Entertainment staff were lovely.. however one of them told us to come to a “free” bar off the resort, when we arrived they tried to get us to pay €50 entry free EACH, there were 6 of us, and the bus refused to take us back to the hotel. We were in the middle of nowhere. Looking back we should have never gone but she seemed so genuine. Our mistake. We reserved a table one night to watch the entertainment and ordered some soft drinks, after about an hour they brought cocktail menus over. When we said no thank you they explained that we had to buy either food or alcohol to sit there?! So we had to move onto 3 tables and all sit apart. They allow glass by the pool and we watched a lifeguard swimming to the bottom to collect a smashed glass at the bottom of the pool.. WHILST KIDS WERE STILL PLAYING IN THERE. Overall I would absolutely not recommend, worst hotel I’ve stayed in. It was a very uncomfortable holiday. Also just a side note, 2 of our party were lgbt, they were made to feel very unsafe.

Had a lovely time at this hotel. Everyone is very welcoming lots to do and get involved with.

Location is ok a little quiet. But a few bars and restaurants 5min walking distance taxi rank top of street main road. Atmosphere The entertainment team are brilliant Firat, Beko and Magic Mike really do try and get the party going some great pool games and entertainment on nights. Rooms are clean some different sizes we had a small room for a family room but they did moves us to a bigger room which you can't ask for more. Valve had better hotel and experience for the amount we payed but it is what you make of it and we have had a good time. The only negative I can say is food is a let down on all inclusive not a lot choice and very repetitive but food from the al carte is really nice.
