Sunmelia Beach Resort

Last Wednesday, we checked into this hotel. At first glance, everything seemed fine. However, once we entered the room, we immediately noticed that the floor was dirty. Our daughter walked on it for only a few seconds in her socks, and they were already completely black. On Thursday, our room was not cleaned. We thought, “these things can happen,” so I simply asked for clean towels myself so we could still take a shower. On Friday, the room was not cleaned again. The only thing housekeeping did that day was replace the trash bag in the bedroom, but not in the bathroom. Fortunately, we did receive clean towels again. On Saturday, the room was once again not cleaned. This time, I decided to report it at the lobby. The young man at the front desk was friendly, but explained that there was no housekeeping staff available in the evening and that someone would come the next morning. In an entire week, housekeeping properly cleaned our room only once — and even that could hardly be called a thorough cleaning. Based on the hygiene standards alone, I would definitely not recommend this hotel. As for the food, everyone knows that in hotels like this you usually get standard, simple meals. The food was always just “okay” — nothing terrible, but certainly not great either. What was more concerning, however, was the information provided in the room. There was a form listing opening times and additional information about the facilities. It stated that a “late night” meal service was available from 1:00 AM until 7:00 AM. My husband went downstairs at 1:07 AM to get something to eat before we checked out an hour later to travel home. To his surprise, everything was already gone just seven minutes after the dining area had supposedly opened. Keep in mind that he was the only person there. I will also add photos as proof. As mentioned above, we checked out during the night. When we arrived at the lobby, the employees were sitting in the back room. They slowly came out without greeting us or saying anything at all. After about a minute, one of them simply asked, “Checking out?” We answered yes. He asked for our room number and checked us out. At no point were we asked how our stay had been, whether we needed any assistance, or even wished a safe trip home or a good evening. Overall, the lack of hygiene, poor service, and unprofessional attitude made this a very disappointing experience.

I’m sharing my experience in this hotel the whole my seven day was totally wasting time starting the food was pretty much the same every day. Drinks are very cheap. The cheapest you can find. I don’t know how they rate this Hotel five star the reality is not five star. Starting bathrooms not accessible toilets for small children’s. they have to reach sinks and toilets. starting coffee and ice creams horrible quality. We did stay for one week and we couldn’t make reservation either Chinese Turkish or fish restaurants limited time for your reservation and you have to decide the menu two days before which you can sit down the same day, and you can change your mind and you cannot change the food, which is not normal. Cleaning rooms every day very poor cleaning still, you see the sent on the floor and people who clean beware with the stuff you live in the room they steal stuff from the room and The hotel is not responsible for anything you lost. The restaurants when they open too many people you cannot find the seat you have to stay around for 10 minutes to find the table or you gonna sit down outside in the hot weather. Cleaning the tables you can heat in the same placemat the previous people they heat before they just wipe the tables in the place mates, not changing replace with new or clean pleasemat. People walking around sometimes they pick the food by hand, not using the tongue. No one was talking to them. The seaside not very good view compared to the places where I’ve been before. The pools are very cloudy during the day you can see it specially in the night when they turn the light on, you can see how cloud it is. People have no idea that water is not safe for so many people to swim in those pools specially with the kids The pH and the total alkalinity not in the same range or should be. I have a pool in my house and I know how important is to keep the water sparkly and clean. The Wi-Fi signal very poor, even inside in the lobby. Overall, for what we pay, I will rate this between 2 to 3 stars overpay for me first and last I am in Turkey vacation.

Just backed from our vacation to Manavgat sunmelia hotel From the beginning during our stay until leaving enjoyed every minute ! We had a warm welcoming at the reception it was not crowded and went to the room directly . Our room had a wonderful view well designed new furnitures and get cleaned daily . Restourant main buffet is quite good and slots of toons for each meal Foods was fresh and delicious and it was not crowded at all so you can have your meal with out rush . We also had chance to join entertainment daytime activities and evening programs everyone was extremely friendly and making sure that you feel second home with activities and programs like quizzes karaoke DJ performances ..etc my favorite was dart . There are many bar options in the hotel lobby gardenia by the pool and beach bar Service is good and fast employee smiling Beach area is massive huge located with a snack Restourant there . We did really enjoy hotel vibe and our time during . Don’t miss to spend some time at aqua park ! Special thanks to entertainment team whom went above whole vacation . Highly recommended and will be back soon .

We had a wonderful vacation at the Sunmelia Beach Resort. The hotel complex is very clean, well-maintained, and offers everything needed for a relaxing stay. The food was varied, fresh, and there was always plenty of choice for every taste. A special thanks goes to the animation team – you truly made our vacation unforgettable. The shows in the evening were professional and very entertaining, and during the day there were great activities for both kids and adults. We would especially like to highlight Lilli. She is incredibly warm, always in a good mood, and with her open personality she manages to motivate and involve all guests. Thanks to her, we immediately felt welcome. Lilli does her job with passion, and you can really tell how much joy she takes in putting a smile on the guests’ faces. ➡️ Conclusion: A great hotel, a perfect atmosphere, and an animation team that makes the vacation something very special. We will definitely be back!

Very enjoyable experience, the kids absolutely adored the animation team especially Lili, she had so much time for the kids. They would smile and love to go over to her so chat when they saw her, she spoke very good English which was a great help with them being so young.
