Trendy Palm Beach

We stayed at the Trendy Palm Beach Hotel last year - me, my husband and my parents (age range 40s to 70s) - and we all had a fantastic time. First impressions were great - a lovely warm welcome at reception and the whole place was absolutely spotless. The cleaning team were always pleasant and helpful, and the hotel is very well looked after. The entertainment programme was busy (in a good way!) - there was always something going on, but you never felt pressured to join in. Water aerobics was brilliant fun and really inclusive. Oktoberfest was superbly done with such a happy, buzzy atmosphere - one of the highlights of the week. Gala Night was the only disappointment as it wasn’t quite what was advertised - it felt very similar to the other evenings, apart from an unmanned cocktail table. Not a disaster, just not what we expected. Food-wise - you absolutely won’t go hungry! There’s food everywhere. The main dining room was well run and efficient; staff were polite, though not the warmest compared to other areas of the hotel. We loved watching the bakery food being prepared – a nice touch. The speciality restaurants were a really lovely experience and great to have different options during the stay. Most evenings we ended up on the main bar balcony playing cards, which became a bit of a ritual for us. The service there was excellent – the bar staff worked incredibly hard and were always friendly and attentive, even when it was busy. The spa was fabulous – I had a fantastic Turkish massage which was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend treating yourself. Rooms were great – good shower, decent toiletries, and a well-stocked drinks fridge. WiFi worked well throughout our stay. Pool beds were plentiful, although quite close together. It wasn’t an issue when we were there as it wasn’t peak season, but I imagine it could feel a bit snug when the hotel is full. There’s also a fab walk along the promenade into town which we did several times – such a lovely setting. We’d happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, especially if you’re travelling as a mixed-age group like we were. It worked brilliantly for all of us. We’d read a number of reviews beforehand suggesting the hotel was very German-focused and not great with English guests, but that honestly wasn’t our experience at all. Yes, we were definitely in the minority as Brits, but the staff always made an effort to speak to us when they could — and to be fair, we only speak English, so we can’t really complain! This was our first time at the Trendy Palm Beach but we are very familiar with this area having stayed at other hotels. We absolutely loved our 10 night stay at this hotel, everything was just perfect, from ALL the lovely staff (special mention to Bahar in the lobby bar/restaurant and Hilal the lovely waitress in the outside bar) and the very pleasant and helpful guest relations lady. The check in was quick and we were given a lovely room with a good view. The room was kept very clean by our cleaning lady. The food was all excellent, from the great choice at breakfast, lunches and snacks, ice creams and such good variety at the evening meal, all food was lovely and freshly prepared. Waiters in the restaurants work very hard and are very efficient and friendly. Gorgeous breads, and it was fascinating watching the man prepare the filo pastry for the small sweet and savoury pastries. The choice of cocktails was very good, and each one freshly made. Good variety of small shops and hairdressers at the hotel and a very good jewellers. We noticed the hotel is very environmentally friendly as regards recycling but it was a concern that most drinks from the bar automatically came with a plastic straw, which we always declined but paper straws would be a better choice. Have already booked for next year !

Having read some indifferent views about this hotel we were not sure what to expect. Well have to say what a lovely place, fantstic happy smiler staff. Spotless hotel. Nothing was to much trouble for the lovely staff. Our room was on the fifth floor with seaview. It was lovely and spotless. Cleaned to a very high standard. The food in this hotel had a varied selection. We always found something we liked. The entertainment was also good. The pools were lovely and clean as ws the beach This hotel was spotless. it has to be one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. One previous review metioned about to many Germans. I was embarrassed to read this. Yes they do have German people going to the hotel. I can only say from my experience very nice people. We are already looking to go back in may and would certainly recommend. Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday.

We arrived on the 27 September and was welcomed by very friendly staff and offered a drink. we was told where our room was in the annex 4 floor, the room was not the biggest but it had loads of places to put our clothes and a well stocked mini bar, it had a great view from the balcony. There was a good variety of food for breakfast, the omelette was one of the best I've had, dinner time we had a choice of the main restaurant or the beach bar both very good, night time the food was hit and miss for us the food was not hot enough and some night was better than others , we did get the chance to speak to the manager about it and was very happy with the feedback. The staff were very friendly (most of them) like all places of work there was some who worked harder than others. Great beach plenty of beds didn't have a problem on the beach or pool side. It was very clean in all areas . The entertainment was one of the best specially the October fest, would we go back YES.

Great hotel. Immaculate and clean. Rooms good with really good shower. Mini fridge restocked daily. Cleaners very cheerful. Food was plentiful Breakfast fabulous continental choice. My only disappointment was you had to leave main dining room to go outside to open area where eggs and omelette cooked fresh.I did feedback that I thought should be available in main as well. You can eat all day long and presentation is lovely. A la carte restaurants well worth booking. Fish was our favourite Pool warm and clean. Plenty of loungers but very close together and although they do try to stop reserving we did know towels were on beds for hours unoccupied Beach in easy reach and loungers there as well with cover from sun. Entertainment ok Good water aerobics Darts,boules etc Night entertainment not our cup of tea but well ttended by others Piped music a lot of the day was english and not to loud. As mentioned mostly German visitors but i do not agree with reviews saying they were favourite over other nationality. The staff in general spoke really good German so maybe had longer conversations but we had just as good service at night being served drinks and once realised we were english they communicated well. Definitely not a problem Shops are close by and taxis easily available. A great hotel with hard working staff
