Trendy Verbena Beach

We have had a wonderful stay at Trendy Verbena Beach, and one of the hotel’s greatest strengths is undoubtedly its people. Even before our arrival, the hotel was extremely responsive to our questions and requests. The replies were quick, comprehensive and genuinely helpful. When we arrived, it was clear that our previous messages had actually been read and taken into consideration, which made us feel welcomed from the very beginning. Check-in was friendly, smooth and well organised. Our room was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with a layout that worked very well for our family. It provided a pleasant and relaxing space to return to at the end of each day. A very special thank-you must go to Berrin Sönmez, the Guest Relations Manager. Berrin was incredibly kind to us and was always available and genuinely ready to help. Her warm, professional and caring approach made us feel that we were not simply room numbers, but guests whose experience truly mattered. The hotel also offers a very useful WhatsApp guest-relations service, making it easy to ask questions or request assistance during the stay. The beach is beautiful, clean and very well organised, with plenty of sun loungers and parasols available. We particularly want to recognise Yusuf, who works throughout the day cleaning, arranging and moving the beach loungers. He works continuously in extremely hot weather and helps keep the entire beach area clean, orderly and comfortable for everyone. His hard work deserves to be acknowledged. Although we did not personally use the swimming pools, we noticed that they were kept very clean. There were several comfortable areas with plenty of loungers, and the guests using them appeared relaxed and happy. The food has also been a very positive part of our experience. The main buffet restaurant offers a good range of choices, and the team is very accommodating. We also noticed plenty of suitable options for children and families. The à la carte restaurants, which are included as part of the all-inclusive experience, are a particularly enjoyable addition and provide a lovely change from the main buffet. We would also like to give a special mention to Hasan. We met him working in the à la carte restaurants as well as assisting with other hotel functions. His versatility, friendliness and consistently welcoming manner were very noticeable. However, this praise really extends to the entire team: wherever we went, the staff were lovely and helped create a relaxed and happy atmosphere. One more special mention must go to the lovely “Trendy Cat” 🐈 near the hotel’s beach entrance. It was heartwarming to see that the cat has a well-maintained little house, together with plenty of food and fresh water. This thoughtful detail says something very positive about the kindness and character of the hotel. What impressed us most was the consistency of the hospitality—from the communication before arrival and the smooth check-in to the restaurants, guest relations and beach service. There are many people working behind the scenes and in the heat to make guests’ holidays enjoyable, and their efforts are clearly reflected throughout the hotel. Thank you to Berrin, Hasan, Yusuf and the whole team at Trendy Verbena Beach for making our family holiday so enjoyable and memorable. We would be very happy to recommend this hotel.

Our room was cleaned thoroughly by Meral (I don't remember the maid's name), who cleaned our room thoroughly every day, and towels were also changed daily. The food at the hotel was good, but there weren't enough sunbeds on the hotel grounds. There were more sunbeds on our private beach, but there were plenty of them. Beach activities, such as a kite flight with a motorboat over the beach, are expensive at 110 euros for two people. The entire facility is clean and the staff in the dining room cleans quickly, and the waiters in the bars are super nice and understand English.

I had the pleasure of staying at Trendy Verbena Beach, and my experience was truly a 10/10. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always smiling. I would especially like to highlight how considerate and helpful the hotel was regarding food allergies. They took our needs seriously and went above and beyond to accommodate us. A special thank you to the head chef, who kindly prepared a separate dessert for my mother, who has a nut allergy. This was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated it. The hotel has a wonderful location, with the beach just a short distance away, and the surrounding areas were beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The food was also excellent, with a great variety of options. The different activities and entertainment provided by the hotel made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Trendy Verbena Beach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday with excellent service, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction. What a fantastic week. This was a very last minute decision, but we absolutely made the right one. My wife and I came for a few days away for our 20th anniversary - and Trendy Verbena Beach did not disappoint. The staff are super friendly, the food was great and the hotel facilities were excellent. We lounged around the pool (just reserve a bed by about 7:30am). We had a massage. We shopped at the local mall (only about a 10 min walk - but go in the evening). We also visited the Old Town (about €15 one way). The hotel also offered a complimentary meal in one of their a-la-carte restaurants. We stayed in Rm 4108 and the location was perfect - not far to walk to the pool, hotel or the gym! Evening entertainment was great as were the activities during the day. But the staff are the real difference. So friendly, polite and helpful. I would come here again in a heart beat. In fact, next year I think we’ll bring the kids ….. maybe!

Trendy Verbena beach has been an absolute delight. The first thing you notice is the cleanliness and care that everyone takes seriously. The rooms, restaurants, bars, pools and public areas are always kept spotless! The staff at the hotel from check-in, guest relations, waiters/ waitresses, servers, cleaners etc are ever so friendly. Everyone is keen to chat and advise. The staff are what really sets this hotel apart and offers a sense of trust. They work extremely hard and always try to remember your favourite drinks. The personal touch goes such a long way and we were not disappointed. So much so, that we met a wonderful young man called Aydin who was currently in training in the restaurant (sweeping/ cleaning). He greeted us with a smile each time and even spoke about football! There is a language barrier but everyone speaks English or will go to lengths to ensure you are happy with the service. We wish Aydin the very best of luck in all he does, he was a real asset to the hotel and took pride in his work. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the hotel gave us a lovely bottle of wine and fruit platter, again such a lovely gesture! The facilities are perfect. We had a massage in the hotels spa which was amazing! There is food, drinks and snacks available at all times. There is a wide variety of food to cater for all tastes however my only point would be that there was not much for vegetarian guests at dinner time. I don’t eat meat or fish so it was quite restricted to rice and vegetables which can feel repetitive when eating this daily! I fed this back to guest relations who was keen to look into this and see what can be added to the food choices. The rooms are lovely with great facilities. We stayed in room 4108 and the location and view from the balcony were brilliant. The separate shower and toilet work very well and the sink area as you enter offers a great additional space. The light up mirror was very handy too. The decor in the room was lovely and modern, the large bed was super comfortable too. We spent a lot of time by to pool. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger and lifeguards were on duty all the time to ensure everyone’s safety. There were also trainee staff around the pool area who took pride in serving drinks and offering cold towels to help cool off from the heat. The evening entertainment had a good mix of shows and music and then onto the bar afterwards. The beach party was great fun too and was impressively set up. The animation team try hard to get everyone involved and dancing! We have been to Turkey many times and this hotel has certainly left a wonderful, lasting impression. This time round was a break just for me and my husband to celebrate our anniversary but - we are booking again for next year and bringing our teenage children and parents…there is something here for all ages! Upon check-out we chatted to Berrin (guest relations manager). Berrin was keen to hear our views about our stay and offered her assistance to support our trip next year. Again, a lovely personal touch to have a key contact at the hotel. Berrin’s interest in our views was motivated by her passion to get it right for all guests! This hotel is an absolute gem within Side and deserves every recognition possible to celebrate the hotel and the hard working, dedicated team.
