Turquoise Hotel

We came as a couple in our 70's and had a brilliant holiday. The hotel is a mix of nationalities and ages, which we prefer. Everything exceeded our expectations. Our room was in the main building and was a deluxe with balcony and sea view. It was a very good hotel room with comfortable bed and chairs. The bathroom was on the small side but fine, with a hairdryer and all the usual toiletries. The balcony overlooked the entertainment stage, but this was a bonus as we were able to sit there in the evening and enjoy the shows. Everything ended at 11 pm, so it didn’t interfere with our sleep. The room also had a fabulous view of the grounds and the sea. Plus wonderful sunsets. I cannot imagine why anyone would criticise the food. So much choice and so many restaurants and bars. All this and lovely pools set in beautiful, spacious grounds with plenty of sunbeds... all inclusive. You can go a la carte if you want a change, but we didn't bother. They catered for children and people who prefer plainer food as well. The cocktails were very diluted, but the beer and spirits were ok. The white wine wasn't brilliant, but the red and rose were fine. The cocktails in the lobby bar were far superior to those in the other bars. Children are well catered for and the children's club and swimming pool with slides are located on one side of the property. Children were able to use all but one of the pools and they had safe areas to swim. The beach was sand and some gravel with hotel sunbeds (free of charge). The sea was clean and warm, but there were large areas of hidden rocks, which made it a bit awkward to wade out and swim. Beach shoes are needed and possibly inflatables to lean on until you reach deeper water. You can swim from a ladder at the end of the pier. The whole hotel was very clean and the room serviced daily. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. You can always judge the quality of a hotel by their staff. This is a well managed hotel in every respect. I cannot praise them enough. The location is perfect with old town Side a ten minute bus ride away and so much to see. Thank you everyone at the Turquoise Hotel. We had a wonderful holiday.

This was my 4th visit to this hotel, and it gets better and better. This time I brought my elderly mum for her 3rd visit, after being here myself just a few weeks earlier with my partner and our friends. What makes this hotel so special is the staff, everyone from reception, to the ladies on guest relations, the restaurant staff, cleaners, gardeners and especially the entertainment team, make you feel so incredibly welcome and comfortable. I’d particularly like to mention and thank Gledys, for the most entertaining Aqua gym classes, and the time she would always spend chatting to us. And also Saljun, for her fantastic fly yoga and Pilates classes, and Pia for great Aqua gym and yoga. Also Ipek and Hande for also coming for a little chat each day with my mum and making her feel special. And to all of you for the fun I had dancing with you all every night! You’re all lovely and you all do an incredible job and work so hard….Bravo to you all! I really hope to be back next summer and see you all again. xx This visit we stayed in a 2 bedroom sea view room, (1269) which I’d definitely recommend. It was very spacious and in an ideal location with a lovely view. The rooms have everything you need. I’d also recommend the a la carte restaurants. We ate at the Bougainvillea , Italian and Steak, and all were lovely meals with great service. Although they have an additional fee, they are excellent value for money and it’s lovely to have a relaxing meal with waiter service sometimes as a change from the buffet. It was my birthday the night we went to the Bourgainvillea and they decorated the table beautifully with flowers, the hotel also left me a rose and birthday card in my room which was a lovely gesture. A massive thank you to everyone at the Turquoise, it really is the friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and truly my happy place!

Great place, will go here again. Rooms are clear and cozy, food i liked. Perfect location near to beach, also very clear sea. Atmosphere calm.

What another wonderful week at the Turquoise. We have been 6 or 7 times over the past few years and once again it did not disappoint. Our room was in one of the outside blocks but just a short walk to the main building. It was clean and tidy with everything that you would need. It did seem a little 'tired' in places but nothing to detract from the experience. The main buffet restaurant was very good with choices that would satisfy all tastes and the quality of food this year did seem particularly good. The lunch/beach restaurant again was very good and we did like the move from buffet to waiter service for the main dishes. Entertainment during the week was great; there were classes during the day and musical events on in the evening. In previous years they did have some Latin based dance classes. Sadly they were not on at this time of year. However, I did get my dancing 'fix' from the evening music sessions. The Staff..... They were all lovely...house-keeping, bar, restaurant, lifeguards (stationed at every pool and pier irrespective of swimmers etc) and Entertainments. Always pleasant...ready with a smile and happy to have a joke and a laugh. The Entertainment Team were brill; not just during classes but whenever you met them on-site. They were high profile and always enthusiastic and cheerful. Very good at their jobs! For us, this hotel ticks all the boxes....We will be back!

3rd time visit Turquoise as a couple and this time 10 other family members for husbands special birthday- his favourite choice the Lake Houses with pool. During the day we also spent time with family at the main pool and beach. Boys tried some activities , they enjoyed the archery and the sea water sports (pay extra for these). We enjoyed the food at the Bougainvillea , main restaurant Kevansary, outdoor lunchtime snack restaurant and the steak a la carte, the waiting staff work hard and nothing is too much trouble - even for a table of 12! Cocktails were nice and also Turkish coffee in reception and various teas. The evening entertainment is varied - you will like some of the bands and not others according to your own taste , but also lovely is sitting at the beach bar in the evening overlooking the sea and pier lit up. We enjoyed the night disco and the Bohemian garden party. Reception will call a taxi €10/12 to Side old town accent city well worth a visit. We also had some family moments photos taker by the hotel photographer Mahmut - they were amazing and reasonably priced too! There really is something for everyone here and I would definitely return a 4th time. Thank you Turquoise for another amazing time.
