VONRESORT Golden Beach

This was one of our most extraordinary holidays. The resort is huge and luxurious with many daily activities. Our children enjoyed the most the non-stop ice cream stand and the diversity of waterslides and swimming pools. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The apartament on the first floor of our Villa was perfect for us. The staff would come daily and clean and refill with cold drinks our minibar.

Came here as a family of 5. We really enjoyed it and would definitely come back. The staff there very friendly and helpful and the resort was lovely. Even just trying to get my baby to sleep it was a lovely place to walk around. Rooms - we had a family room with one room having a double bed and the other having two singles. They're cleaned daily and the minibar is stocked daily. They are a bit outdated docor wise which I seen a few people comment on but we didn't come to spend our holiday in the room so that didn't bother us. Food - the main restaurant is what you'd expect anywhere but there are so many other options around the resort too. I'm a little bit fussy but my son is extremely fussy and he always found something he enjoyed and was never just eating for a the sake of it like alot of other holidays but it's worth keeping in mind that after 7pm the main restaurant is the only one open. The food options around the activity pool and down at the beach restaurant were our favourite. The all inclusive ice cream beside the aqua bar was lovely and definitely used plenty by my eldest. The coffee bar done some lovely cakes too. Pool - the pool was amazing, don't know if it was just the time of year we came but it was never too cold and the slides were perfect for my 11 year old, especially the new ones just opened this year. Our first week wasn't too busy but the second was so it could be a challenge sometimes to get a float for the slides (tough not all of them need one) Entertainment - there were a couple of nights with some good entertainment such as the bingo (which was €15) and and X riders show and we also enjoyed going to the bowling (located at Golden coast costing €8pp) and my son loved the arcade (€50 for 40 games). The entertainment team also had the world cup games on which was great for my partner. Only thing we weren't aware of was the entertainment changes at each hotel each week so we went to the amphitheatre on a Monday night expecting something different than we got (we will check each week next time). Also bring mosquito repellant if you're going to the football/basketball pitch (that's seems to be the only place affected going by ours and other families so if you're not going there then it shouldn't be a problem. Also obviously not the hotels fault, just a warning for future guests) Beach - we went to the beach a couple of days. There is a shuttle running from the hotel to the beach that only takes about 2 minutes which was great and we had an all inclusive restaurant where we really enjoyed the food and drink and an all inclusive bar on the pier which was great. Spa - myself and somebody else I was with went and got spa treatments. We were nicely welcomed, it was very relaxing and we were able to be in the same room which was lovely. Von ink - A couple of us got tattoos done, it was a fair price, the staff were very friendly and the tattoos look good The only things I would love to see change is; Smoking - there is a non smoking side of the main restaurant which was great as I had a baby with me and when somebody tried to smoke there they were directed over to the smoking side by staff. Only problem is that it's the only non smoking area on the resort so people were smoking around the pool where my children were playing and at the bottom of the slides. My 11 year old is smart enough to stay away from it the best he can but he shouldn't have to and I had to keep moving away from where we were sitting with my baby and I didn't want to go sit away somewhere because my eldest was on the slides. Entertainment - I felt like a was at a stag do a few of the nights, a lot of the entertainment was very burlesque like with the women constantly in little outfits and thongs. From what we actually seen of the entertainment it was quite good but it was definitely not family friendly so us and quite a few other families walked out during it on a couple of the nights which was quite disappointing for a family hotel

I really like the well-maintained environment, the animators work hard and make a lot of effort to make everyone happy. All employees should get a medal for their work.

My first visit to VonResort Golden Beach, the complex has everything that you need to make great memories, swimming pools, great restaurants and bars, beach shuttle buggy, on site water park, coffee bar. I would like to give a special mention to Dilan & Nisa who both looked after me and made us so welcome, nothing was to much trouble and made us feel so welcome I can’t wait to go back.
