Hotel Blue Star

The reception look is the only good thing in this hotel. We arrived from the airport at 2am with 3 other couples and had to wait for 40 minutes to get to our room. It was because a hotel worker had to take us there (meaning click the elevator button and open the door with the card). When I asked if we can go to our room by ourselves because it’s late already, the workers shouted at me „NO!! I HAVE TO TAKE YOU!”, and we waited another 15 minutes while he was talking with his coworker. But this is not the worst part of the trip. We paid to get the best room - in exchange we got a mattress hard as a stone, barely working AC and hairdryer. Also as a bonus to our trip - the hotel staff walked into our room while we were sleeping and started yelling „control!” Then quickly closed the door and went away and this situation happened twice, even though we had a „do not disturb” sign on the door. If you think that maybe at least the food was good - you couldn’t be more wrong. Meat that looked like it was dead for a month before cooking, 10 types of onion - cooked, fried, grilled, raw - all were cold. The deserts smelled as if the cook added an essence of his dirty, sweaty socks, and tasted the same. All inclusive soft drinks were in really small cups and weren’t filed to the top, if you didn’t want to walk to the bar all the time you had to ask for a bigger cup. There are also so little sunbeds that you would need to wake up at 3 am to have one that’s in the sun, if not you could only sunbathe standing up. The slide goes straight to the main pool so when you slide there’s always a risk that you’ll hit somebody. Overall terrible experience, we came back hungry and with food poisoning.

Food was no way 4* quality, food most the time was cold and not kept to temperature, breakfast time they must of used left over vegetables which is not normal. One of the days there was flies on the rice. Hot trolley was not always to temperature to keep food hot. When food was topped up, they poured it over the cold food instead of throwing away the cold left overs. Some staff are not helpful, had to change our room 3 times, for 1st room had urine stains on bed, the second room had a smell of bad drains. Brought up about the food to restaurant manager and he brushed me off as did not care. Will not be staying here again

Rooms are good , pools are good, FOOD IS TERRIBLE !!! It’s the only time I’ve been to an all inclusive and lost weight There are a lot better hotels in this area for the same money , or less , don’t waste your cash on this place .

Location was ok about 10 min from seaside and this is one of the good thing i can say about that hotel. We booked 2rooms both had broken shower the lid on toilet was like nightmare al the time needed to hold it with one hand. The room wasn’t cleaned properly and very unusual. The staff were unfriendly. The guy from staff who has to show our room when we came for a first time was drunk. The atmosphere wasn’t nice. The food wasn’t good enough. Lots of Polish people around 90% off all guests were very loud especially at evening time after 10pm. The swimming pool was overcrowded the water wasn’t clean. The lifeguard didn’t do their job properly. After 5pm they closed water slides and used them by themselves. Lots of rubbish was around swimming pool even broken glass. The sun longer was broken. Barmen’s mostly with a moody faces. That was the worst hotel i have ever stayed. I don’t recommend this hotel and i would never choose it again.

What a fantastic week away we had,lovely spacious room cleaned every day with balcony with amazing view. Staff are all friendly the 2 entertainers work so hard,and trying to get everyone to join in the games they were brilliant. Pool a little cold only due to the time of the year but the sea was lovely,all inclusive bar on dedicated part of the beautiful kleopatra beach 5 min walk from hotel. Few bars/restaurants around or £5 in a taxi to the main part of alanya where all big shops/more bars are. Highly recommend the pirate boat trip was ace! Thank you again to everyone at the hotel for a amazing stay in Turkey.
