Protels La Plage

The location was great. We got around with kids to our daily activities, very conveniently. We did swimming with turtles ( my favorite), prison island and stone town, snorkeling, blue safari, swimming with dolphins and a lot more) Hotel management was very accommodating in assisting with transportation requirements for shopping etc. The rooms were cleaned and maintained daily. Belongings were safe. Cleaning staff were so friendly. Restaurant and Bar Service took a bit of time but the staff always ensured you were taken care of. Hotel management interacts with you daily ensuring your travel experience is fantastic. At the resort, we did henna designs, hair braids, massages. It was great. We also did a guided walk to the reef which was quite an experience with the ocean life you see. Overall, we loved our Zanzibar vacay. Thank you Protels La Plage, management and staff, for giving us your love and warm hospitality. Travelco for all our travel and touring, thank you. We loved Zanzibar!!! Hakuna Matata!!!!!

Amazing stay. Felt so looked after, friendly welcoming staff. Staff seen constantly cleaning, pool side activities, lovely location, nothing to much trouble. Had a fabulous suprise meal on the beach. Leila at reception so warm and welcoming, Patrick on the bar, great cocktails served with an enormous smile and Elizabeth in the restraunt kept us well fed and looked after. Also manager Shaddy always around and interacting with guests, my husband enjoyed the football with him. Great location for all our excursions. We will definitely be back.

The location was amazing and Shady was so helpful in accommodating us and ensuring our stay was comfortable and welcome. The staff were friendly and everyone went to enormous effort to ensure we had everything we needed. The rooms were a bit outdated but the pool area and beach were amazing. The atmosphere was fabulous and there was always something to do.

It’s a really place for vacation. They also provide services for birthdays and etc. very enjoyable!
