Brilliant all inclusive with entertainment every night. Restaurant staff extremely accommodating. Kadar was great to meet our vegetarian subsistence needs. One suggestion all labels next to food items should have prominent Green Leaf signifies vegetarian food item. Whilst there is very small black leaf signifies vegetarian on the corner of the label it’s not prominent unless pointed out by staff.

Currently staying at RIU Zanzibar and having the best time! The resort is beautiful, but the staff are what really make it special. I want to give a huge shoutout to Sadick and Dhahira. Sadick is so friendly and always has a big smile on his face, making sure we have everything we need. Dhahira is incredibly sweet, and her warm energy made us feel so welcome every single day. They both go above and beyond to look after the guests. Their managers should be super proud to have them on the team! Thank you both for making our holiday so perfect.

I've never stayed at an all inclusive before, but this stay was amazing. We choose this hotel as part of our honeymoon trip, and it was the best choice. The hotel is big enough to give you the scale of being at a great place, and not big enough for you to have to walk too much from place to place. Everything is close but even though there were hundreds of guests, it never felt "swamped". The room was very spacious and clean, exactly what you'd expect. One weird incident was that from the two pool-towel cards we got at check-in, one day one of the maids had accidentally taken one after cleaning our room, which I caught last minute. I wouldn't mention if it weren't for the fact that if you don't procure them back at check-out, you're charged 20$. The buffet was amazing day-in and day-out, with multiple selections across food types and cultures. Unfortunately the other restaurants were only open one-at-a-time, with limited seating that from our arrival was already pre-booked, so we didn't get to eat there, but the food from the buffet was more than great. The pools were very nice, and the drinks and bars right next to them even better. Entertainment at night was pretty good, there were trivia nights, every day a different group would put on a dance show, which were very fun. Then, there was one hour of DJ music with a dance-floor for all guests. This will be my only bad thing to state, the DJ, who for 4 nights played the same playlist with very little changes. I understand this is a resort, i get the group dances, but listening to the same 20 songs every day got tiring. He didn't read the room, the last two days people started leaving, which didn't discourage him to change the music, he just kept playing music to send people to bed, and ended his set even 30 minutes earlier than scheduled one day. Before closing, a shout-out to Nora who was amazing throughout our stay, extremely kind and helpful, she was always there to assist us. Would I go again? Definitely, an amazing hotel and a great overall experience, truly. The two things I mention above are just details that would make a stay feel flawless.

Lovely hotel - loved the adult only aspect & loved the elevated protected (from vendors) beach area - lots of sun-beds - especially at the pool! The beach/sea was lovely The food in the buffet was excellent, with lots of variety & choice. The restaurant booking system is not good - we stayed for 4 night and I tried to book on our 2nd day (@ 08.15) for either our 3rd or 4th night hut there was no availability for either - asked reception staff and they managed to get us an early booking for our last night - but the food was soo good in the buffet we decided to stick with that The wine & champagne was disappointing and there was only one choice of each - none of our party liked any - I feel they could offer 2-3 choices - it is a 5 star hotel & only offering one choice is not great! The rooms were large and clean Overall the experience was fantastic & I would definitely recommend & return
