I recently stayed at your hotel, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to Ashley. She went above and beyond to help me get an avocado to take with me on my flight, which truly made my day. Ashley is a kind and warm-hearted woman, making you feel very welcome. Her willingness to assist me with this request showcased her absolute kindness. Thankyou so much Ashley! Kind regards, Zeta

Had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar. The resort is beautiful, spacious, and offers an incredible variety of complimentary activities, from kayaking, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, SUP boarding, Swahili classes, village and spice tours, bicycle rides, and multiple pools including a stunning infinity pool overlooking the sea to basketball, football, mini golf, tennis, pickleball, squash, pool tables, and much more. The complimentary daily shuttle to Stone Town was also a fantastic convenience. The breakfast was very varied, with numerous dishes, several live stations, multiple cereals and drinks, and a selection of ginger boosters that were especially helpful for adapting to the change in weather. We also loved the themed dinner buffets, with something different and exciting every night, including Zanzibari, Caribbean, Eastern, Italian, and other themes. Similarly, there was an impressive variety of dishes and multiple live cooking stations. Having a picky eater was not a concern as the restaurant staff consistently went the extra mile to ensure guests satisfaction with their ad-hock requests fulfilled. These thoughtful gestures made us feel genuinely cared for. What truly made our stay special, was the exceptional staff. The entire resort team was friendly, welcoming, and always greeting guests warmly, including but not limited to:: - Mwana and Sakina at the Kids Club were simply superb. They took wonderful care of our children of different ages and made sure they had an amazing time. They even babysat our almost toddler and also played PlayStation with our almost teen. Their care, energy, and kindness were genuinely exceptional. Kids looked forward to kids club. - Abel, around the pool and Kids Club, was so much fun with the children while also being attentive to their safety around the pool. - John took the Kids Club on a lovely walking trip around the resort and towards the resort’s spice farm, explaining the different venues and plants along the way and at the farm. It was both enjoyable and educational. - At the main restaurant, Darzen and Ramadhan were incredibly kind and helpful, often carrying our baby around so we could enjoy our meals. Our baby absolutely loved their company and would look for them whenever we passed by! - Vumelia at Reception was also wonderful. She supported when our baby developed a fever, helped request the nurse visit and coordinating with the Stone Town shuttle driver to obtain medicine and a thermometer. As she was pregnant during our stay, wishing her every blessing and a safe, speedy recovery. - A special thank you also goes to Zainab from Reservations, who was patient and understanding throughout the booking and payment process. Despite some difficulties with our payment transfer, she was supportive and kindly sustained the reservation until the payment was received. The room she helped us secure was beautifully located with a breathtaking sea view. - Housekeeping team kept our room beautifully tidy every day and even came by in the evening to apply mosquito repellent and prepare the beds’ mosquito nets for the night. We did not see a single mosquito during our stay. Overall, Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar gave us a truly memorable family holiday. The beautiful setting, fantastic activities, excellent facilities, and, most importantly, the genuinely caring staff made this a special experience for our whole family. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar. We would happily return and highly recommend this resort to families looking for a relaxing, fun, and truly welcoming Zanzibar experience.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at Sea Cliff Resort in Zanzibar, and we absolutely fell in love with the place. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The hotel was immaculate, and every member of staff greeted us with a cheerful "Jambo" or "Hello" as we walked by. It really created a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including excellent air conditioning, an iron, and mosquito netting around the bed. We never actually had any mosquitoes in the room, thanks to the exceptional housekeeping team. They visited twice a day, once in the morning to clean the room, turn on the air conditioning, and open the mosquito netting, and again in the evening to prepare the bed and carefully re-tuck the netting. The standard of cleanliness throughout the entire resort was outstanding, with the hardworking cleaning staff constantly keeping everything spotless. We stayed on a full-board basis, and the food was fantastic. There was an excellent variety at every meal, with themed dinner nights, live singers, and evening entertainment adding to the experience. The hospitality staff were always friendly, attentive, and courteous. A special mention has to go to the Hospitality Manager, Abbas. He was exceptional and took the time to chat with guests every day. He seemed to know everyone by name and genuinely cared that everyone was enjoying their holiday. As I am Muslim, Abbas even kindly took me and another guest to the local mosque for Friday prayers, which was greatly appreciated. We also mentioned that we'd like to visit a local orphanage, and Abbas arranged for one of his team members to take us. Khamcha, the Entertainment Manager, made our stay even more memorable. He took us to a local shop to buy supplies before accompanying us to the orphanage, making it a truly special experience. He was incredibly friendly, always stopped to chat with us, and simply couldn't do enough to help. We also spent time visiting local villages with John, who was equally friendly and helpful. He took us to local shops where we bought sweets for the children, and then accompanied us as we handed them out in the village. It was a wonderful experience and gave us a chance to see a different side of Zanzibar. The hotel facilities were excellent. The swimming pool was beautiful, and it was always easy to find a comfortable sun lounger after breakfast. As the name suggests, the hotel sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean. A set of steps leads down to the stunning pier, which is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. The hotel's private beach is only about a five-minute walk away. We visited it during our stay, although we preferred spending our time around the pool and pier. The gym was another highlight for me. It was clean, well-equipped, and split into two rooms, one with resistance machines and free weights, and another with treadmills and cardio equipment. I used it every day. If I had one or two suggestions, it would be to upgrade the air conditioning in the treadmill room to match the excellent system in the weights room. It would also be helpful if the television could be repositioned behind the treadmills so it could be viewed in the mirror while running. A leg press machine would also make a great addition, although there is already an excellent squat rack. The resort also offers mini golf, two tennis courts, and two pickleball courts, providing plenty of activities for guests. The grounds themselves are beautifully maintained, with an abundance of tropical plants, colourful flowers, and mature trees that make the resort feel like a true paradise. Although the hotel is quite remote, this wasn't a problem. Taxis are readily available, and the hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle bus to Stone Town. The shuttle leaves at 9:00 am and returns at 1:00 pm, you simply need to reserve your place in advance. Stone Town is well worth visiting, with its bustling streets and many shops selling local crafts and souvenirs. While there, we also visited some local schools, and the children we met were absolutely delightful. To celebrate my wife's 50th birthday, I booked the special sunset dinner table by the pool. The staff kindly changed the table decorations from yellow to red at my request, making it even more personal. My wife loved the surprise, and the evening was made even more special when the staff brought out a birthday cake and gathered around to sing and dance for her. It was a memory we'll never forget. I'd also like to give a special shout-out to our housekeeper, Tatu, who kept our room immaculate throughout our stay. Sea Cliff Resort is a truly stunning hotel, but what really makes it exceptional is the people. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had the best possible holiday. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made this one of the most memorable holidays we've ever had. If we return to Zanzibar, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Sea Cliff Resort again. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and we can't recommend it highly enough.
