It was very nice and lovely to be Here the staf was really wonderful,and hospitable oudere command displays for many people I Know. Big Thanks to the staff (Sharifa,rosse,angel,faidha,sulaiman,betha,feless,Johari ,and specially (Maya) she was extraordinary and Thanks for her for anything ❤️.

We stayed at Sultan Sands Island Resort on Zanzibar for two weeks in September and absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were really clean, spacious, including a little balcony. Most rooms are in huts, which just adds to the charm. We particularly chose this hotel because it is relatively small, so more personal. And we were not disappointed. The staff were amazing. The hotel manager, Jimmy, was super hands on, helping out wherever needed. In particular staff in the restaurant went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We would like to especially mention Hidaya, one of the superviors. Always smiling. And she made sure a particular table was reserved for us, without even asking. Other staff that were amazing were Sophia and her sister, Angel, Mohammed and Ochien. Also the lady who mostly served at the bar closest to the beach - we think her name is Happy. The pool was clean and spacious. There was never any overcrowding. And the beach was clean, with super fine soft white sand. At times there was some washed up seaweed, but that’s nature. People were incredibly friendly. We also explored the local village a little and felt completely safe. There is clearly a lot of poverty on the island, but people are warm and friendly, and welcoming. When walking on the beach, be prepared to be approached by lots of locals who want to sell their goods or services. If you do take a walk when the tide is out (recommended, as you will see lots of interesting sea life), make sure you take beach shoes, as there are lots of sea urchins. The buffet is smaller in range compared to other all inclusive hotels. But there is still good variety and the food was delicious and of high quality. There were some food stations that cooked fresh food for dinners. Very good selection of fresh salads every day along with fresh fruit. All the meat is halal unless otherwise stated.

I recently travelled to Zanzibar for my sisters 50th birthday and the trip was exactly what we needed! We celebrated this milestone in style and most of that was made possible with the exceptional hospitality provided by the team of Sultan Sands. The care that was given to our food, entertainment and general well being goes beyond words. Sultan Sands offered a cosy feel that left us pinning for more of the island life. A special thanks to Mr. Dass (General Manager) who personally ensured that we received a VIP service. Big thank you to the entire team at Sultan Sands that made us feel so welcome. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

We got back from Sultan Sands two days ago, OMG what a fantastic hotel. Everything was superb. Our room was spotlessly clean, lots of personal touches. Food & drinks were top class, wanted to bring chef home in our suitcase. All staff members were so welcoming, chatty & such lovely people. (To many names to mention) A la carte Cinnamon restaurant also superb. Fish tikka lovely. Great location sat on beach. Once again thanks to Jimmy & all staff for giving us lots of amazing memories, hoping to return next year. Asante Santa.
