Hotel Koral

It was just horrible. Food was awful, rooms were dirty, hotel doesn't look like on the website (maybe 40years ago.....)

I made a booking 2 days before we arrived. The hotel is not modern, but is vey good for this price. I used the hotel with breakfast and diner. Breakfast is OK! There is salami, some fruits, cheese and cereals. The diner is much more than I expected! There are at least 2 type of meat - normally chicken and pork. Most of the days there is fish too. Also I few salads, soup, watermelon and a few cakes. The hotel has very big swimming pool, TV and free internet. The reception staff is very helpful and friendly. The staff in the restaurant is not Bulgarian and dont speak Bulgarian or English, but this is everywhere is Bulgaria now! The hotel is 4 star and the restaurant is 3 star! For Bulgaria standard this is very real! Don’t expect changing bedsheets everyday, but the take the rubbish out and give toiletries! A few years ago I was at much more expensive 4+ stars hotel and everything was much worst! I recommend this hotel! Will book it again if we decide to come again here! The hotel is abou5 5-7 min walk to very quiet and safe sandy beach! Thanks to the receptionists of the hotel! They do them best to make the guests happy!

Hotel Koral is over at the back of the west end of the old St Kontantin & Helena resort and as such has survived the wholesale demolition and rebuild of the main centre and beachfront of the resort. An older mid-range family hotel with a small to medium sized pool, it's not a bad place to spend a few days. We stayed B&B and the breakfasts are best described as adequate, nothing exciting but not terrible either. Limited toast making facilities! It did suffer from an influx of coach party visitors whilst we were there over the weekend as well as hiring its main dining area out for a wedding, so at times there were so many people we felt a bit pushed out into the open air eating area, a bit nippy first thing in the morning. Our room was on the ground floor at the back, so no sea views and I was a little mosquito nibbled from spending time reading on the balcony (from which some sort of electric motor or pump could be heard most of the day possibly from the next building). Air conditioning in the rooms is of the shared building type and worked fairly well with your own controls on the wall. it's not a long walk to the beach but be aware that a lot of the seafront and beach area is hotel specific.

The hotel is very old The bathrooms are with mold and spiders. Cleaners are coming not everyday,they don't even collect the garbage from the room.We needed to ask our bedsheets to be changed,and this happen just once for 2 weeks.Often we didn't have toilet paper and clean towels.When we were asking the answer was that they don't have right now as had a embarcation day. The water in the pool is very cold. The food is nice but the staff is awfull.Spoil everything.They are argumentive with bad attitude,no manners - magority russian speaking. Most of them speak only russian,not even English or Bulgarian.The same with our room cleaner and some of the night shift reception.We had very big problem with communication and understanding. So at the end for 2 weeks we get bad hygiene in the room,non professional reception service, and mean and rude staff in the restaurant.

Nice hotel with good quality of service for affordable price. Quiet location with plenty of trees and roses on the territory and around. Don't miss the opportunity to visit hotel's massager Saro - he's great professional with decades of experience. Constantine and Helena overall and Koral hotel in particular is far from loud and noisy clubs and discos. Hotel has open pool on the territory, where we enjoyed swimming with roses' petals on the water. Koral hotel is also pet-friendly.
