Atlantica Bay

Spent 10 days at atlantica bay. Lovely staff. Entertainment ok but only a one week programme. Enjoyed buffet (could be warmer) and a la carte. Only downside should have a smoking area and a movie channel. Beach was very stony could be improved.

After a hiatus of 7 years (for various reasons, illness, family weddings in Italy and of course the dreaded Covid!) we returned to The Bay for our 7th visit - think we may have the 7 year itch! This is still one of the best hotels we have stayed in worldwide and definitely the best in Cyprus. Beautiful, immaculate building and rooms which have recently been refurbished. I’m not a big eater but could always find something to my taste but my husband found the food even better than before with much more choice of seafood on the menu. What makes this hotel though, is the wonderful staff. Could not praise them highly enough. Although 7 years since our last trip here, many of the staff remembered us and greeted us warmly, especially Jac the porter who we have always loved. So kind, funny and helpful. His ‘other half’ Nishant is also a lovely young man who is following in Jac’s footsteps such a pleasant man. Lovely to meet up with Yannis and Dean again too. On our last day we had a conversation with the lovely manager and told him in person what a great staff he had. The newer staff members are also to be praised. They all work extremely hard but always with a smile on their faces. Congratulations to this wonderful hotel for maintaining such high standards and always putting the guests first. We shall return!

Absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is spotless, rooms were very modern and spacious with bathrobes, slippers and toiletries provided. The dining experience was some of the best we have had for buffet style meals. Great choices and the food was always hot. I would highly recommend visiting the A la Carte restaurants, as the food there was amazing. The pool area was great. Lots of sunbeds, no need to reserve. Ice lollies and cold flannels were brought round at certain times. There was waiter service around the pool, terrace and lobby bar, which was very quick & efficient. A good choice of AI drinks, especially the cocktails. If you fancied tea or coffee at the bar, it was served in pots, which was a nice touch. A pebble beach is across the road,I advise to bring beach shoes. However, once crossed, the sea is very shallow and sandy and watersports are available. ( payable) The hotel beach beds are free but drinks and food at Sands bar is payable, although there is a discount for hotel guests. The hotel is situated a bus ride away from Limassol but it is so easy to get there. The bus stop is across the road from the hotel and is a reasonable €2 . Finally entertainment, it depends on your taste. While we were there, Sean Lynch ( vocalist) was great, Silent Disco was fun. Also a fab saxophonist. Don't forget, they have to suit all nationalities, not just us British! The hotel is adults only and it seemed to appeal to all ages, couples and singles. We celebrated our anniversary while there and had a bottle of Prosecco left in our room, which was a lovely touch. Just want to say thank you to all the staff at the hotel, who were all polite, friendly and efficient . We will definitely be back.

Just came home from a week here and we were blown away, everything was perfect! The room was lovely, cleaned properly every day, towels and mini bar. We had room 209 which was well placed and gave an amazing view from the balcony. The food was amazing on all meals and a huge selection to choose from, all cooked to a very high standard too. The pool area was really good with loads of sun loungers and bar staff that always made sure you had drinks regularly too. This was our first time in Cyprus and we are already looking into re-booking for the same time next year, we seriously couldnt have chosen a better hotel. Thank you Atlantica for an amazing holiday!
