room is lovley to stay in air con works nice and quickly good value for money, always cleaned every morning,but most importantly the staff were great best i’ve been to always smiling and looking after you constantly alwuas making sure you have what you need and always very happy making the day better , the pool facilities were lovely constantly cleaned and checked ,and the food was also lovely with a lot of options

Spent two weeks here from late June into early July in a Superior Sea View room. The room itself was excellent, with fantastic views. My only minor criticisms were that there is no lighting in the shower area of the bathroom, which seems an odd design choice, and the shower head couldn't be angled. Neither issue was a major problem, but they're worth mentioning. My only real complaint was the poolside sunbeds. They are old, uncomfortable and many are broken, to the point that we eventually stopped using them. Pool towels are available at €1 per day, but you'll need two towels to properly cover a sunbed. The hotel was generally very clean throughout. However, the jacuzzi had a noticeable thick scum line around the water level that remained throughout our stay and didn't appear to be cleaned. The food is what you'd expect from a buffet hotel. There's enough variety that most people should find something they enjoy. Breakfast wasn't particularly impressive, while dinner was better with a reasonable selection, although nothing exceptional. Overall, for the price, this is a very good hotel. The location and sea views are absolutely outstanding and are a real highlight of the stay. Would I return? Absolutely. It wouldn't take much for this hotel to move up another level—addressing the sunbeds and a few small maintenance issues would make a significant difference.

This hotel was the best I've ever stayed at in the whole of Cyprus after coming here for 20 plus years Staff absolutely amazing and totally accommodating Always prepared to make ones stay comfortable and pleasant no matter what the request I will be coming here again and would highly recommend to any one ever thinking of staying here Also would like to add staff male this hotel feels like home And the cleaners will make your room feel like the first night/day you arrived ever day 10/10 and can't highly recommend enough

Had an exceptional 1 week stay at Chrystalla Hotel. Stuff was super friendly, food was delicious and 10/10 in terms of cleanliness! See you next year!!

Good looking hotel at the end of the strip, away from the noise, relatively quiet, and that's as good as it gets. After a delay to our flight we arrived at hotel after midnight, after a long day of travelling we were hopeful of a what people have stated previously a welcoming face, unfortunately not, night porter took our names, chucked room key onto desk, then held up 3 fingers which we assumed was 3rd floor, then pointed to a rather small lift, no welcoming drink, no food nothing, no instructions as to anything else. Once we found the room we were expecting something a bit better, but a bed it was, a long bench along one wall with a shelf for a caes, we assumed was what passed as a table, no chair, little poof under unit which I guess was their option of a chair. Noticed no key for safe (which you are charged €1.50 per night for), so back into rickety lift to reception, asked about safe key, and only answer was tomorrow, everything was tomorrow So not a good start, maybe have a think about people arriving after long days of travelling WiFi is poor, it kept dropping out, which whilst not a major issue, it is a nuisance, TV in room didn't work, trip to reception needed, gentleman came up with new remote, then mentioned something about satellite on roof recalibration and channels would keep dropping out, he wasn't wrong, so no World Cup catch ups Pool area is a good size, water was pleasent not overly cold so very welcoming in the heat, sunbeds are awful, like laying on cheese grater, pool towels are available (at a cost) but even they are not enough to make them comfortable, worst we have had in a long time. Pool bar was OK, decent average prices, snacks from bar were reasonable in price and were plentyful Canteen area, because that's how it felt, was again reasonable, nothing special, breakfast is as breakfast is, toaster needs sorting, but them I'm still to find a good one, but usual bacon, sausages eggs etc, few bits continental. Evening meals were very much same old same old, again nothing special, same fruit options every day, 2 types of watermelon, banana or grapes would have been nice, desserts very much same, nothing that would make you go wow Downsize is the rather grumpy head of dining area, don't think he smiled the full 10 days we were there, no greetings, just walks over asks what drinks you want then goes, not good. They is nothing that would make you want to stay in hotel of a night, bar area is where you eat, unwelcoming, they did have a rooftop bar in production but we did not see it operational, not sure what it will bring to the hotel, as it lacks anything to make you want to stay, all a bit dull, but then again 5 minscaway you have the strip, so maybe they gave up on trying. A lot of people mention this family run hotel, but we certainly didn't see any of that. Would we return, definitely not, it lacks so much of what we had hoped for, needs more improvements, but it is a 3* but punching above, and priced above compared to other hotels in area, we will be back in Protaras just not here.
