The hotel is visually impressive, very large, and designed to feel luxurious, though at times it seems to struggle with organisation. The hotel staff are generally very friendly and helpful, particularly those in management. The rooms are comfortable, but on the smaller side, which can make them less practical for sharing unless you opt for an executive room or a suite. The half board option did not feel worthwhile to us, especially given the excellent variety of restaurants just across the road and throughout Limassol. By comparison, the hotel’s dinner offering felt limited and repetitive. During our stay, the hotel hosted many guests from Israel who were understandably seeking a break from the difficult situation at home. While some visitors were simply enjoying their holiday, there were several large groups of rowdy young men, whose very high energy behaviour created significant noise disturbances throughout the day and night. Their late night gatherings became a recurring problem, and despite the staff’s best efforts, the disturbances were increasingly difficult to contain. After several nights of interrupted sleep and numerous complaints from both ourselves and other guests, we ultimately chose to leave three days earlier than planned. Limassol is a lively commercial hub and has never been a particularly quiet destination, but the overall atmosphere has become noticeably more intense since the start of the conflict in the Middle East. For that reason, it may be wise to check with your travel agent about the current situation before booking, to ensure the environment aligns with the type of holiday you’re hoping for.
