Hotel Amathus Beach

I cannot recommend Amathus Beach Hotel enough. I have been staying here yearly for over 40 years and its the best hotel in Limassol. It has something truly magical that the other hotels although lovely don't possess. The staff are exceptional & feel like family as they go above and beyond to help you and make your experience special. You are always greeted by the amazing friendly & helpful Porter's & Michalis in particular makes our trip every year as he is so funny, helpful & charming. When I think of Amathus I think of him. The grounds are stunning, a true piece of paradise is sunbathing on the beautiful lawns under the palm trees. The hotel is exceptionally clean & I love the style & decor of the hotel. The view & sunsets are beautiful either from your room or the Athina Hotel Bar which i always love having a pre-dinner cocktail here. Lozana is my favourite and she always looks after us. The seafood restaurant Limanaki is a must. The ambience is amazing. To sit in candlelight by the sea and eat fresh delicious seafood. We usually eat here more than once during our stay as its that good. Zina Makariou also always makes our trip. Her warm, kind, funny, professional manor is so appreciated and she goes above & beyond every time we stay to make sure we feel special. This year I celebrated my birthday with my friends with dinner at Limanaki & Zina went out of her way to arrange a beautiful delicious birthday cake & gift. Going above & beyond. Amathus has a special place in my heart & I always look forward to staying here and seeing the same wondeful staff every year.

We had a wonderful stay at amathus Hotel in Limassol. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and offers a relaxing atmosphere with excellent facilities. The staff throughout the hotel were warm, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A special thank you goes to Sabina at Athena Bar. She was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and genuinely caring. Her positive attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to help made every visit to the bar a pleasure. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience and is a real credit to the hotel. We highly recommend Amathus Hotel to anyone visiting Limassol and will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

So disappointed, we’ve stayed at the four seasons, which is fantastic! It was a toss up between the two! We found the staff unaccommodating, they seem in my opinion all about the money! Which is a shame, as hotels on this level should all be about the customer! Such a shame! We won’t ever stay at this hotel again! Luckily, Limassol has so many nice hotels! I wouldn’t recommend this one! 😩

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. A special thank you to the reception team for their kindness and efficiency, and to the manager for making sure everything went smoothly and we felt truly cared for. Also, the lovely beachfront setting and comfortable rooms was made for a relaxing, memorable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxury getaway with a warm, welcoming touch!
