Hotel Amathus Beach

Amazing hotel with a sea view. Very large rooms. 5 pools. No need to leave the hotel. Their service is above and beyond. I had a birthday every day and they sent me a cake and a bottle of champagne to the room. The reception staff is very friendly. Just ask for something and they bring it straight away. Low prices. Worth the money.

As soon as you walk in to the lobby, you know you’re in for a treat. The hotel is big, modern, clean and absolutely stunning. The views from the windows out onto the gardens and beach are gorgeous. Warmly welcomed and quickly checked in, we were shown to our room straight away. We opted for a pool suite room as we are celebrating a milestone birthday for my wife this year, and the room was just awesome. Spotlessly clean, large and well appointed with plenty of seating, large bathroom area and a huge bed. Straight onto the large balcony with a view over paradise and our own private pool. A welcome bottle, fruit and cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday were dropped off, and the fruit was replenished daily. Everyone we met was always friendly and always happy to help, and all around the hotel, you could see people constantly tending to the gardens and cleaning etc and there is evident pride in their amazing hotel. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and all fresh and tasty. If the weather is good and you manage to sit outside, it really is just the most scenic spot you will ever have the pleasure to dine in. The manager there (Panayiotis) somehow managed to check in on all the tables, but still make you feel like you were his only guests! But everyone at breakfast was always friendly and helpful and there is plenty to eat and drink. You won’t want to leave! On checkout day, we really didn’t want to leave so we managed to extend for another night in the same room. Reluctantly, we had to leave the following day but we will return next summer. Thank you for making our visit a very memorable one.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights with my sister, and we had a wonderful experience. When we’re warmly welcomed and shown to a room, it had a fabulous sea view. The room was slightly dated but well furnished, and importantly had good-sized single beds. The bathroom had a shower over the bath—which I’m not a fan of—but the water pressure was excellent, and the towels were large and soft. We slept very well not only on the first night but throughout our stay, thanks to the high-quality bedding and pillows. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight. We were warmly welcomed and given a choice of seating. The buffet was high quality, plentiful, well laid out, and constantly replenished. There was also the option to order eggs cooked to your liking, with a wide range of fillings available for omelettes. Coffee, orange juice and cava were all served generously! What really stood out at breakfast was the exceptional service, overseen by Panayiotis Panayi, the maître d’. He was incredibly friendly, and we looked forward to chatting with him each day. During the day, we spent time relaxing by the pool. The loungers were very comfortable, and we enjoyed reading and chatting in the warm Cypriot sunshine. In the early evening, as the sun began to set, we would head to the bar for a cocktail. These were served with delicious olives and nuts, which was a lovely touch. One thing worth mentioning—and applauding—is the hotel’s association with a local cat charity. We saw volunteers coming in to safely capture young cats so they could be neutered. There were many friendly cats around the hotel, and as cat lovers, we really enjoyed their company. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, and I would definitely stay here again.

Large beachside hotel backing onto a boardwalk where you can walk miles either way. The staff are brilliant and we were upgraded to a very nice junior suite with private plunge pool. It was unusually cold when we visited so we did not get a chance to try out the hotel's small beaches which offer sheltered swimming. Instead, we opted for one of the hotel's adults-only seawater pools which was partially heated (and actually featured the novelty of underwater music). We counted three outdoor pools together with a large indoor heated pool plus a sauna and steam room. There's a very large gym with Technogym equipment plus various studio classes. The gym was open between 06:30 to 21:00 (except weekends when it closed at 20:00). Breakfast consisted of a large buffet spread together with a cooked-to-order egg station. It was all pretty good plus they served very good coffee too. Overall, this hotel is an excellent option if you are staying in Limassol.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous—words can’t fully capture its stunning appeal. The rooms, facilities, service, and kitchen are all top-notch, leaving families wanting for nothing. The beach is breathtaking, complemented by thrilling water slides, indoor pools, a luxurious spa, a seasonal floating obstacle course, a well-equipped gym, dedicated adult sections, and endless activities to keep kids and teens entertained. This resort delivers a true 5-star experience in every way.
