Very amazing entertainment team! Everyday there were fun activities to take part in. Super nice atmosphere. The rooms were quite nice. I think the location of the hotel is perfect. I would definitely recommend everyone to go here because it’s safe, beautiful and fun. I would love to come back!

Lovely hotel, Muhammed in reception was superb - really helpful. The bar staff were lovely and the drinks didn't taste watered down. Food was the best all inclusive buffet I have experienced. We arrived at the start of the season so was quiet, but the entertainment team made sure we were all occupied!! Ryan and his team really lifted our holiday, the entertainment staff were fantastic and laughed and joked with us throughout the holiday. If anyone is wary about travelling to Cyprus don't be, it is open for business and very safe. I would recommend Louis Althea to everyone.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we were glad to return. The chef and his team are amazing, the meals are delicious, beautifully displayed and there is a good variety. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the cleaners, waiting staff, reception, the bar tenders all do a fab job. I had a lovely (albeit a bit pricey) spa treatment. I felt it was worth it. The fence around the tennis court could do with a bit of a TLC but the court itself is okay. The pools are amazing and the hotel is kept clean and tidy. A special mention to Eva, Anneli, Llambri, Lola, Ryan and Thomas of the entertainment team. Their evening shows were fantastic, they are very talented entertainers and genuinely lovely people who made our stay so much fun. There were a lot of daytime activities to take part in for both the kids and grown ups. We loved their Easter party and the Disney show left all the kids mesmerised. All in all, we loved this hotel and hope to return again.

Wonderful experience and what’s happening in the world does not affect here at all, a nice peaceful resort and a particular mention to Ryan of the entertainment staff who are all absolutely brilliant and kept everyone well entertained during our break. During our stay at Louis Althea Beach in Protaras, Cyprus, our young daughter suffered a serious injury after slipping on a chipped tile in the pool area, which caused a deep cut to her foot. The injury was significant and has unfortunately left her with a visible scar. At the time of the incident there was no lifeguard present at the pool. Our daughter was screaming and bleeding, and despite looking for help we were unable to locate the lifeguard immediately. In the end we had to carry her ourselves to reception to receive first aid. The receptionist and another member of staff assisted us, but it was extremely distressing that no trained responder was available at the moment it happened. The lifeguard did not attend to our daughter until the following morning, when he wrapped the wound with a dressing. While we appreciated the help at that point, it does not change the fact that immediate assistance was not available when the accident occurred. We also documented the situation at the time. We have photos and videos of the injury, the scar, and the damaged tiles in the pool area, and there was more than one chipped tile present, which raised concerns about the condition of the pool surface. It is important to say that the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful, and overall our children loved the holiday. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would have been open to returning in the future. At the time we chose not to pursue an insurance claim, as we hoped the hotel would show some goodwill toward what had happened. However, when we later contacted the hotel, the only response offered was a 10% discount on a future booking, which felt extremely disappointing given the seriousness of the incident and the distress caused to our child. What made this particularly frustrating is that the hotel was already advertising similar discounts publicly, meaning the offer did not feel like a genuine goodwill gesture or meaningful resolution to the situation. We understand that accidents can happen anywhere, but pool safety and supervision are fundamental responsibilities for a family resort. We had hoped the hotel management would respond in a more thoughtful and supportive way. Because the matter has not been resolved satisfactorily, we are now considering raising the incident through our travel insurance, which we initially hoped to avoid. We hope the hotel will review this situation seriously so that other families do not experience something similar.
