Louis Althea Beach

It’s set in a relatively quiet spot right on a small beach, offering a very spacious room and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious with a wide variety. Nice cocktails at the bar the whole day. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, but the entertainment team truly stole the show. They kept both adults and kids entertained all day with fun activities and ran a fantastic kids club. The evening shows were a major highlight, with a mini-disco and games for the children, followed by great performances for everyone. We loved the 70s night and our girls loved the kids talent show in which they decided to take part last minute. They helped them to sign up on the spot and everything ran smoothly. A special shoutout to Lola, Ewa, Anneli, Jessie, and especially Ryan. His energy was infectious, he went out of his way to include everyone, and our kids simply couldn’t get enough of him! He has a joyful spirit that instantly makes everyone feel at home and comfortable. He even came to say goodbye on our last night, which we appreciated a lot. He's a great dancer and singer who knows how to entertain his audience. Overall, it was a great experience. We would definitely return next summer!

As I sit waiting for our transfer back to the airport, it only feels right to look back on an incredible two weeks in Cyprus. 💙 ⭐ Location — 10/10 So close to everything you could possibly need. The perfect base for exploring, but with everything you need right on your doorstep. ⭐ Atmosphere — 10/10 Ryan, Lola, Jessie, Analie and Ava, well the whole team work their absolute socks off to keep everyone entertained throughout the day. They make a real effort to learn everyone’s names, and the kids’ club was brilliant. The children absolutely loved it! A credit to the hotel in our opinion! 🥰 ⭐ Rooms — 10/10 Spacious, comfortable and really well kept. Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed. ⭐ Value for money — 10/10 For us as a family, this was incredible value for money. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. ⭐ Food — 10/10 I’ve honestly never experienced an all-inclusive buffet with this much variety. There’s a different theme every night, so there’s always something new to try. There is a lot of pork on the menu, but we could definitely deal with that! 😂 The children’s options are a little more limited, but that’s probably more of a picky-eater problem in our family than anything else — pasta and cheese for 14 nights it was! 🙄😂 The food area is always clean and really well managed by the chefs. Breakfast deserves a special mention too — absolutely delicious, and the omelettes are fantastic! 🍳🤤 ⭐ Cleanliness — 7/10 The rooms and pool area were kept beautifully clean. There were a few cockroaches around the buildings at night, which is unfortunately part and parcel of being somewhere hot, but it certainly didn’t take away from our experience. ⭐ Noise level — 10/10 Despite being a lively resort, there was no disruptive noise at all. We slept so well! ⭐ Service — 10/10 The waiters were incredible. They work so hard and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. A special shoutout to Carlos and Meher — thank you for looking after us so well! ❤️ For us, this was our first ever trip to Cyprus, and we’d always dreamed of having that perfect family holiday… and honestly, this lived up to every expectation. ✨ With children aged 11 and 5, there was something for everyone, and we have come away with some very special memories that we’ll treasure forever. 🥹☀️ Two weeks has absolutely flown by, and as I’m sitting here waiting for our transfer home, I’m already searching for next year’s dates… 👀✈️ Thank you for the memories, Cyprus. Lovely hotel Amazing kind and helpful staff who work hard . Not overly commercial. Great location and was definitely 4 star . Would visit again

1 bed apartment for family of 4 and sea view studio for Grandparents. Rooms were really close together like requested. Lady in reception helped us with our bags as noticed Grandparent had walking stick. Both rooms were spacious and great views of sea. Studio had sun loungers & 2 balconies. Air con worked a real treat. Bathroom slightly outdated, no extractor fan only a window which we didn't open as opened in to stairwell so room did steam up after 4 people using. Room was kept very clean and towels restocked most days. Pool towels we changed at receprion every 3 days. We did pay to keep 1 room on as had a late flight which was €80. On arrival there were fruit, sandwiches, juice, wine and water in fridge. But we did just make it to end of dinner. Food was A-mazing - stayed at Louis Ledra before and food was just as superb. One member of family is vegetarian and there was plenty of food on offer. Each night was a different theme, particularly loved Mexican night. Iya always put tables together for the 6 of us and even remembered our drinks order, very nice of her and always chatted with us. All staff in restaurant were friendly and welcoming. All bar staff friendly and welcoming always up for a chat particularly Ayman. Loved all the all-inclusive cocktails available. Lifeguards doing great job. Didn't catch his name but the one that made swans and roses out of towels and put by cave. We borrowed snorkel mask from him and returned it at end of our stay. On last day he made swans & roses again as we asked where they were. Pool - not supposed to reserve beds till after 8.30am. We went down and read before going for breakfast. Always got 6 beds close to each other. Pool had slope to get in pool which was perfect for grandparents to enter. Our 2nd week pool got busy as kids had broken up for holidays. Restaurant became busy so had to wait for table inside couple of times. Snack bar - teenagers loved toasties in the morning and hot waffles in afternoon. Plenty fruit, snacks and of an afternoon chips, pizza and nuggets. Son loved water volleyball and beach volleyball of an afternoon with Aggi prepping the court before play. Entertainment team - were FAB! Loved 70's nite. Team work so hard. Daughter took part in tequila challenge and won. We loved music quiz round pool in afternoon, we actually came 1st on one day Team always took time to come to and chat with us. Ryan & Thomas was first to introduce themselves. Anneli was lovely always came for a chat and check in with us all. Chatted with Grandparents daily. On our last day she even came to reception to say goodbye & hugged us all. Our kids are older so didn't use kids club but must have been good as always busy. Beach just outside of hotel perfect for snorkelling. Sunbeds you have to pay for as not owned by hotel. There is a woodern walkway along beach great for walking of a night. Out the front of hotel a 7min walk to town for other bars & restaurants. We did book a catamaran trip which picked us in in the town. Overall lovely holiday, will definitely return in near future. Louis hotels definitely seem ideal for our family.

This was our 2nd time retuning to Louis Althea Beach Hotel, we came last year and decided to return as we loved it so much. We knew the entertainment team had changed so didn't know what to expect as last year they were amazing. I have to say Ryan and the team were just as great, from 10am till late they never stopped. Took time speaking to everyone and got everyone involved. The food was fabulous and plenty to choose from. All staff were friendly and always had a smile, including George and the bar staff. We had to report the lock on the door was faulty, within half an hour the maintenance team were out and repaired it. The only negative point I would say is that the showers in the spa need a new shower head, when I used it the floor in the changing room got wet as the water sprayed over the shower door. Hopefully we will return again soon, thanks to everyone for making our holiday memorable.
