Louis Althea Beach

We stayed in the villas which aren't on the same site but just next door. We used the hotel for food, drinks and the sun loungers for the beach. The food was amazing, a great mix of local food and mix of English, German and Polish. So it had something for everyone. Even my fussy kids. I've never eaten so well at the same time. Who doesn't love Greek food. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, very helpful at check-in. Helped us hire a car and I was sad to leave at checkout. The bar staff made some lovely cocktails.

We had a great stay at the Louis Althea in half term. The food at the buffet was excellent, loads of variety and great quality. There are snacks by the pool bar which are available throughout the day. The animation team did an excellent job and work hard to keep everyone entertained during the day, at the mini disco and for the night entertainment. The 2 pools and the baby pools were just perfect and we had no problem getting sunbeds. Our room was spacious with lots of storage a lovely balcony and comfy beds. We loved our stay at the Althea and would return.

I have stayed at many Louis hotels and have always been impressed....this hotel is not the greatest.....the views and location were amazing and completely overrode the fact that the hotels rooms are dated...give me those views over modern rooms anyday. The food was fabulous...always something for everyone! The entertainment team were great...they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and included.....what let's this hotel down was the bar staff who did not make us feel welcome in anyway...unsure why this was! The location of the hotel was near great bars and restaurants....we had a few amazing nights at the windmill bar and were made to feel very welcome. My adult daughters are of mixed race and we wondered if thats why the bar staff were hostile towards us! Sadly, I think we have been spoilt by the standard of other Louis hotels we have stayed at.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The location; it's so close to the beach and promenade if you want to take a stroll. It's a smaller hotel, but it makes it so easy to get anywhere, whether that's the pool, the beach, the bar or your room. The food; honestly, the best all inclusive food we have ever eaten. There was a different theme every night, and so many options to choose from, with the quality of the food being top tier (the deserts were my personal favourite 😋). It was always clean outside, in the rooms and in the hotel. The staff working here made our stay so much more enjoyable. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team were fantastic. There was always something going on, no matter what time of the day it was and the evening entertainment was one of the best I have ever seen. Big shoutout to Jessie, Lambri and Amelie, who took time out to talk to us and make us laugh every night and Ryan for organising all these entertainment nights. If you're looking for a quieter area, beautiful beaches and an amazing hotel, I would definitely recommend Louis Althea Beach. I will 100% come back here!

We had such an amazing trip at this hotel the past week! We were a group of 13 with 6 kids and 7 adults! The fact that this was a nice small hotel was lovely as we could get back to our rooms easily, either go to the beach or pool but still all be close! The food was amazing and had a great variety every night! The snacks never really stopped and the kids loved the waffles! The best part of the trip was the entertainment team! They really made the trip amazing. They took the time to get to know the kids and entertained them the whole time! By the end of the trip the kids were so comfortable with them and joined in in everything they did! We all loved the night enetertaiment especially my 11 year old daughter Emma who was wowed by the team and stayed until the end every night! A special shout out to Anily, Lambri and Jessie who the kids really loved and made us feel so welcome! Also I enjoyed conversations with them all as well! Definitley somewhere we would love to come back to again!
