Mare Ayia Napa (Atlantica Mare Village Ayia Napa)

We chose this hotel expecting the high standards associated with the TUI Blue Star concept, but unfortunately our experience fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room located directly next to a busy road. The constant traffic noise and the sound of the traffic lights made it impossible to relax or get a proper night’s sleep. Instead of enjoying the beginning of our holiday, we spent the first two days repeatedly contacting Reception, Guest Relations and our TUI representative in an effort to obtain a suitable room. Although we were eventually moved to another room, the problems continued. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, we found cockroaches in the room, the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, the television did not function properly, and the overall housekeeping standard was disappointing. This is simply not the level of accommodation guests should expect from a hotel in this category. What disappointed us the most was not only the condition of the rooms, but the way our concerns were managed. We expected a proactive and guest-focused approach, particularly after reporting several significant issues. Unfortunately, we felt that our concerns were not treated with the urgency or professionalism they deserved. Resolving these problems required repeated follow-ups from our side, resulting in two valuable days of our holiday being lost. Despite these issues, there were several members of staff who truly stood out. Hamid at Aroma Restaurant provided exceptional service and was consistently welcoming, attentive and genuinely caring. The BBQ restaurant was excellent, Rasa and the buffet team were always friendly and professional, the spa experience was very enjoyable, and the beach bar staff delivered outstanding service throughout our stay. It is a real shame because the hotel has great potential. However, comfortable accommodation, effective problem resolution and professional guest care are fundamental expectations. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the standard promoted by this hotel, and for that reason we cannot recommend it based on our stay.

We had a wonderful dinner at restaurant Estia. Adamos the manager took great care of us and made it a special experience for us. All the staff is very attentive and friendly. Our waiters Ajay and Sajan did a great job and we enjoyed the whole evening. Thank you.. we will be back!!

The À la carte (Greek local cuisine) is absolutely incredible! Food 10/10 , service 10/10, atmosphere 10/10. Adamos is a genuinely an amazing host. We will be back

Excellent! with a perfect location. Everything was very clean, the service was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the buffet offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options. Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again!

Incredibly relaxing massage at Aegeo Spa at Mare resort Ayia Napa. I highly recommend therapist Aristea. She is professional, careful and applied the right pressure as requested. Will certainly see me again.
