Mare Ayia Napa (Atlantica Mare Village Ayia Napa)

In October 25 was quoted prices directly by the hotel for stay in Aug 26, two rooms, limited sea view. I even took screen shots of the quote. Contacted the hotel at the time and asked them whether there were any better deals available. I was told via email that the summer prices for 26 were not yet fixed so best to wait until January 26 when the summer prices would be released. This i did, only to find that in January the prices had increased by 35% ! and the hotel despite all the evidence i presented them were totally unsympathetic. Didn't care a damn . So before you book, beware how they operate.Obviously we wont be booking. In my opinion this is dishonest and just smacks of sharp business practice. I doubt they give a damn as i imagine plenty of people will book without realising just a few months ago it was near on 35% cheaper.

Great hotel and staff. Some of the all inclusive drinks options could be better but overall a lovely refurbished hotel. Biser stood out to us as a true gentleman and an asset to the hotel.

So first of all - 4th time we are here at the hotel. Great for families! And there are some stand-out staff members running around the property. The porter Biser(not sure if the spelling is correct) is an absolut asset for you guys - subtle in his approach but always goes above and beyond when he does somethin an explains everything with pride when shuttling guests around. You have a great waiter in the Italian restaurant (she also did the burger restaurant) - really good a recognising guest each evening and remembering what they have said before to her. Your front desk is great a smiling but could be a little more proactive in their approach - we booked a wrong type from what we wanted (they all look quite similar and their names are very similar too - we wanted to be in the bungalow area and booked the residence because we thought the photo was the room we stayed in before) we tried to arange to move rooms and were told to check back with them the next day twice instead of them just leaving us a note whether or not i would be possible. Your bar manager in the pool bar seems really hard working and great at guest - Kyriagos was the name I think. We will probaly be back again. The only thing missing for a perfect score is getting things fixed - we were at the hotel in june and now again in October an some of the things that were not working were still nok fixed. fx. the bucket in the waterpark and some of the water units. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely week away. A great place for kiddies as the beach is super shallow and lovely rock pools to explore Everything about the hotel was great especially the family’s of cats and kittens living there. I fell in love with as all were very friendly, very clean and seemed very well fed and looked after. I noticed that a lot of them had little nips in there ears which meant that they had already been spayed or castrated, which clearly means they are looked after. Please could you tell me what happens to all the cats and kittens in the months that no people are there?
