Margadina Lounge Hotel

Everything is perfect. Everything is nice and clean, and the food is delicious. The only thing we didn't like were the drinks. No real Fanta or Coke. Everything else was fantastic. More sunny spots by the pool would be nice. There's plenty of shade, but it's very comfortable.

Super clean and fresh rooms brilliant location for beach and evening entertainment. Great evening cocktail bar very reasonable pricing. Only had breakfast here and that was lovely, lots of choice. Am really surprised this is 3 star I'd definitely say at least 4. Would absolutely stay here again!

We went with our 1 year old and although we booked a standard double room inland view they upgraded us to family room sea side view. We had a double bed and a extensible sofa which we actually used and was sooo comfortable. Very clean, very good food and friendly staff. So near to Pantachou beach which was absolutely amazing and didn't feel the need to visit other beaches (would have been difficult with the stroller and all the other luggage for the baby). Definetly coming back next year. Thank you!!

This was my first holiday to Cyprus and there are many great things to say about Margadina. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and changed every few days. The towels are changed daily by housekeeping and the necessaries replaced. The balcony was very small but we still managed to squish 3 ample ladies out there for an evening tipple. The spa has a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and showers along with the indoor pool. The pool is quite chilly for an indoor pool but we found it much quieter during the day than the outdoor pool. The gym looked well equipped but I was on holiday so that wasn't anywhere on my radar! There are free pool towels which you can also take to the beach in exchange for a card with your room number on. I assume if you lose them you pay for them which is fair. We didn't use the spa treatments but the rooms looked lovely and relaxing. The outdoor pool is, in my opinion, where the hotel is lacking. There are not enough sunbeds for everyone so unless you're up early with a towel you'll struggle to get anywhere after breakfast. The pool itself is nice but only open from 10 till 7 so there is no option for an early morning swim before the children descend en masse. There is a lifeguard on duty but he seemed uninterested in preventing children cannonballing in right next to other guests or young men playing whack a mole with pool noodles throughout the entire pool area. There are signs clearly stating that children are not allowed in the jacuzzi but again the lifeguard wasn't bothered. It certainly wasn't a relaxing atmosphere. The absolute best thing about the pool area was the lovely bartender. She was always smiling and happy to chat while fixing your drinks. I didn't catch her name but her cocktails were the best! We were all inclusive (which had unexpected restrictions). You could have local beer, wine or spirits but anything branded costs extra. Some soft drinks and water were included in the AI. The cocktail menu was also limited with extra charges for anything shaken. You also can't get a drink after 11pm without paying for it. The restaurant food was delicious! Well done to all the kitchen and wait staff (Ati and Astopolis were outstanding, always smiling and happy to help). There was a huge selection of food to suit everyone, all fresh and replenished regularly. There was a different theme each evening and I enjoyed trying lots of new foods. There are 2 lifts for the 4 floors and you spend an awful lot of time waiting for them, especially around meal times. If you've only got a floor to go and are able, use the stairs it's quicker! There are plenty of shops in the immediate area around the hotel. Lots of options for souvenirs and snacks. There are also some lovely looking restaurants but we didn't visit any of them. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk away and you can hire 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for €7.50. In conclusion, the Margadina has some excellent qualities and with a few tweaks in the pool area it could be a perfect hotel.

had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional throughout my visit, always ready to help with a smile and ensuring everything went smoothly. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and every meal was well-prepared and fresh. I especially appreciated the clean and well-maintained environment — both the rooms and common areas were spotless and comfortable. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to others looking for quality service and a clean, welcoming place to stay!
